The apartment is located on the raised ground floor level of an Edwardian mansion villa ( accessed via set of steps to mansion front door otherwise the apartment is all on one level with additional steps down to the garden ( with handrails) GROUP SIZE The apartment can accommodate up to nine guests at weekends but is best to book for smaller groups of max 4 to 6 guests for longer stays. SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS There is a Zip and link bed which is 2 x 2ft 6 singles as standard or can be a 5ft Kingsize double on request plus a double sofa bed in bedroom 1 2 singles or Zip and link 5ft Kingsize double on request in bedroom 2 plus three sofa beds in the large bright lounge. All amenities are close by including the King Alfred Leisure Center offering a range of sports facilities and there are always lots of things going on in Brighton and Hove.The BEACH is 3 minutes walk away and lots of shops and lively restaurants and bars plus supermarkets at the top of the road. VERY RARE OFF ROAD CAR PARKING SPACE for 1 family saloon size car included in with the holiday rental : A rare find in Hove these days a saving of up to £15 a day in high season. There is additional on street meter parking in Albany Villas visit parkopedia and enter Albany villas Hove to see on street parking meter costs. The apartment has a fully equipped KITCHEN as well as two bathrooms one with shower and one with bath /shower, there is also a large walled GARDEN with table and chairs for those hot sunny days and evening drinks before you venture out to enjoy one of the many fantastic eateries or bars which are so close to the apartment you can be seated and ready to order within 5 minutes of locking the door or 15 minute stroll to the Brighton centre where you can take in some more Victorian architecture including the recently restored Bandstand and maybe a picture or two along the way. BEDROOM ONE sleeps up to 4 guests with a Hotel style zip and link which can be a kingsize double bed on request or 2 singles as standard This bedroom also has a DOUBLE SOFA BED This bedroom has its own EN-SUITE SHOWER ROOM with shower cubicle, WC and basin BEDROOM TWO is located to the front of the apartment and also has a 'zip and link bed' ie can be a kingsize 5ft double ( on request) or 2 x 2ft 6in single beds as standard The large spacious LIVING ROOM has 3 fold out click clack SOFA BEDS to sleep 1 adult each . There is a DINING TABLE in the living room to seat up to 8 guests FAMILY BATHROOM with bath, WC & basin located off the apartment entrance hallway KITCHEN Dishwasher, washing machine, hob, cooker, fridge freezer Table & 2 chairs available in the kitchen for any early risers in the group. and that early morning coffee! About the neighborhood
Hove is a well kept secret of Brighton and Hove City, the seafront is a great place to escape to, away from the hustle and bustle of Brighton but near enough to get into Brighton when you need to. The apartment is just a short walk to the sea & seafront promenade with its pretty & colourful Hove beach Huts. The promenade attracts roller-bladers, baby buggies and dog walkers. People relax & play football games , enjoy family picnics on the grassy areas, and an area to play boules or just generally chill out. Its great to stop at the open-air cafe and watch the world go by or admire the splendour of the West Pier and the old regency buildings along the front.
Getting around
The apartment is located in central Hove very close to regular bus routes going east/west along the seafront and in/out of central Brighton namely the no 700/no1 a, no 6 and no 49 buses. It is also within a 5 minute walk to Hove Train Station and there is a taxi rank located close by at Hove Town Hall ( 3 minutes away ) close to Norton rd car park.
