Abbiamo trascorso un weekend in questo splendido casale in campagna ed è stato stupendo. L'accoglienza è stata eccellente, la pulizia della camera impeccabile, attenti ai minimi particolari, la gentilezza insuperabile, il posto con un tramonto incantevole sulle colline del Chianti. Ci si sente a casa, anzi meglio. Torneremo sicuramente!

Un magnifique séjour en Toscane dans une maison propre et très bien équipée et située à moins d'une heure de Pise, 25 min de Florence, 40min de Sienne et 40min de San Gimignano. Andrea et ses parents sont adorables et disponibles (bouteille offerte à l'arrivée) et toujours prêts à nous renseigner sur les visites, les itinéraires, les parkings....à condition de maîtriser l'anglais ou l'italien. Le plus, un jacuzzi en accès illimité et une vue imprenable sur le chianti. Son vin et l'huile d'olive sont très bons d'ailleurs. Vous ne serez pas déçus! Yann.

Nous avons passé cinq jours dans cette agréable maison avec vue imprenable sur la campagne toscane. Andrea et son épouse sont très attentifs à notre confort. L'appartement est très propre, les serviettes de toilettes changées après trois jours. La cuisine contient tout ce qu'il faut. La chambre est très spacieuse et le lit très confortable. Belle salle de bains (un bémol pour la douche un peu trop petite à notre goût et sans endroit pour poser son savon ou shampoing), mais ce n'est qu'un détail. Une adresse à recommander. La struttura è incastonata nelle colline del chianti e la sua semplicità esalta la bellezza del posto. Le camere sono super pulite ben attrezzate per passarvi periodi anche lunghi, straordinaria la disponibilità e cortesia dei proprietari. Ottimo il rapporto qualità prezzo. Comodo per raggiungere le principali mete turistiche Toscane, consiglio di privilegiare le strade interne per godere il fantastico panorama delle colline del chianti. Con la mia famiglia ho trascorso una settimana fantastica, assolutamente da consigliare a chi ama e sa apprezzare le cose belle.

My husband and I stayed here for 5 days. The location is perfect for exploring all the important sights in Tuscany. Located on a vineyard in the heart of Chianti, we were able to drive easily in one day to San Garibaldi, Siena, Cortona and Arezzo. The next day we went to Pisa and Florence with adequate time to visit both cities thoroughly. We took one full day and went to Cinque Terre, the famous Italian Riviera, it is only a 2hr 15 min drive away. On the drive back we stopped in Lucca for a short visit and to have our last dinner in Tuscany. Not only was this the perfect for location for convenience to tourist areas, it is a perfect place to relax. It sits in a scenic valley in Chianti with charming mountain views, it is very quiet. If wine tasting is your passion, you won’t have to go far! You could spend one day touring the many wineries located near the farm house. The apartment itself is immaculate, cleaner than some high class hotels we have stayed at. It was fully equipped with everything we needed. We cooked breakfast every morning and a couple of dinners. There is a well-stocked grocery store nearby. Andrea, the owner, is very helpful and accommodating. He greeted us when we arrived with their own wine and olive oil. This alone is worth the visit! His wine is amazing. Stay here, you won’t be disappointed, you’ll go home with memories that will have you dreaming of Tuscany and your next visit.

We really enjoyed staying in Andrea and Martina's apartment. This is a real Italian experience. You have olive trees and grape vines out your window as they make there own wine and olive oil. They are a beautiful family with 2 lovely boys. The apartment itself was extremely clean and everything you need to self cater. It has one bedroom that can sleep 4 and a nice size bathroom with a washing machine which is a real bonus. The kitchen has a cooktop, oven and full size fridge. Wifi is available from 8om every night. We would highly recommend this apartment for anyone wanting to enjoy Tuscany.

As many of the reviewers here on this website would say, it is a perfect base for day trips in the region, including Florence, Siena, S. Gimignano, Volterra, Pistoia and, of course, for relaxation and exploring Chianti its beautiful self. Surely, we did all of this and were very satisfied with the service, location, conditions, quality and value for money. We stayed at Andrea's, in his second, smaller apartment (there are two for rent in the same house) for a week in early August 2011. Needless to say, we liked it very much. The apartment has a modern, well-equipped and clean kitchen with a normal-size fridge, a normal-size, clean bathroom, a spacious enough bedroom, a washing machine in an own private backyard. The apartment has only doors, no windows, but you wouldn't need that much sun in your rooms on a hot summer day anyway. It helps keep the apartment cool during the day and night without air conditioning which it doesn't have. So we didn't miss windows. Besides, the beautiful Tuscany is there waiting for you to step out and enjoy the lovely scenery just outside the door. The place is also suitable for runners and joggers, although the Tuscany landscape may appear difficult for those who are used to flat environments. I did my morning runs some kms all the way up (to the left off the gate) and same way down, which was rather enjoyable. The apartment didn’t have its own internet connection, but Andrea kindly shared his mobile 3G modem with us every evening. The TV in the apartment has hundreds of satellite channels from all over the world. Shopping-wise, it takes some ten-minute drive to San Casciano that has a good-size Coop supermarket, at times a bit too busy. There is a smaller one closer to the house, in the village of Mercatale. Mosquitoes could be a problem despite the protection net on both doors. Mosquitoes get into the apartment anyway, so they can ruin your night sleep if you don’t get protected additionally. A plug-in mosquito killer in the bedroom can do the job.
