Have just got back from a 2 week stay in Villa Fengaraki booked by my daughter. Feel like the villa needs some updating and cleanliness needs to be addressed. Lots of dust on bedroom sideboards as well as bed frames, especially where the mattresses rest on! Mattress protectors definitely need replacing or at least need a good wash. This was spotted when we changed our bedding as no mid-stay bedding/towel change service available apparently due to covid so fresh laundry for us to use was left in cupboard. Pool guy only visited once during 2 week stay. Small leak in downstairs toilet but we didn’t bother reporting it as we already had to report no hot water so owner had to come and replace heating element previously - we therefore simply kept mopping in the toilet. Outside shower wasn’t a proper shower setup and instead was simply a plastic pipe going into a metal pipe which had one flimsy cable tie connecting it to the fence. The cable tie broke when there was a windy day meaning shower setup simply collapsed and was unusable. Outside furniture looked like something from house clearance. Owners did supply two further poolside parasols at our request on the basis there was only one available on arrival for 7 of us. Location of villa and view were great, though car definitely needed.

Perfect location with easy access to all parts of the island. Very friendly family villa. Privacy with clean pool. Amazing welcome that impressed us.

Great location off the beaten track with views of the sea. Quiet. Spacious. Clean and tidy. Air-con throughout. Great pool and plenty of outdoor seating/ sunbeds. Great for sharing with another family.

Returned again this year after such a great family holiday in this villa last year. We were not disappointed! Villa was even better than we remembered, had obviously been well maintained over the winter. The welcome flowers when we arrived were a nice touch. Villa was very clean and was cleaned regularly during our fortnight (as was the pool). Had some lovely lazy days by the excellent pool. Explored a bit more of the island this year. Potami and Zola are our favourite beaches (note that the beach tavern on Zola doesn't open until midday so take drinks and snacks). Lovely day in Assos and would thoroughly recommend hiring a small boat (need to book) from Agia Efirmia and spending a day exploring the lovely little beaches inaccessible by road. Ate in Lixori most evenings or took ferry across and ate in Agostoli (plenty of choice in either). Thank you once again to Frances and family who were always helpful. We hope to return again next year, we had a great time.

We wanted a villa for 8 people and fortunately we booked this one! Very reasonable price; nice facilities (including spacious bedrooms with their own bathrooms, kitchen, washing machine etc); the pool had hydromassage (!); the booking and payment procedure were easy and the manager/owner is very helpful. Last but definitely not least, when we arrived the villa was full of complimentary food and drinks. Just to mention a few: beers, wine, ouzo, milk, juice, bottles of water, eggs, bacon, bread, cereal, jam, honey, butter etc. I want to thank the owners for everything and I want to recomment this place to everyone!

A lovely spacious villa in the Countryside close to Lixouri. On arrival there was a glorious food pack waiting for us including wine,meat eggs etc. all essentials. Brilliant!!! The villa is very spacious and well designed with plenty of outdoor space to enjoy the Greek weather and views. All the bedrooms are air conditioned which was a must when we were here at the end of July. It would have been nice to have air conditioning in the living area also. The pool was kept clean throughout our stay. Our teenage sons spent many hours having fun and chilling!! While we relaxed in the wonderful jacuzzi pool. Lovely beaches nearby especially Xi.Ideal for teenagers. A car is essential to visit all that this beautiful island has to offer. A must is the authentic, quaint village of Assos. Be aware of windy roads and goats!!not for the faint hearted. But the views are to die for! Thank you for a lovely stay. We didn't want to leave.

The villa perfectly matched the description and pictures. Spacious for 8 and we managed to sleep and extra 2 on put up beds in the lounge (although air conditioning was only in bedrooms so they cooked a bit in the heat). Rooms lovely and cool at night and shutters ensured we all slept in late (that or the wine on the terrace in the evenings) The pool was lovely and clean and cooled us down. We were pleasantly surprised by fresh sheets and towels midway through the week and the welcome pack was a lovey extra - bacon and eggs and milk to get us started The location is good for access to much of the island either by road or car ferry (latter cheap and great fun and sails every 30 mins from Lixouri to Argostoli. Would highly recommend this place.

We have just returned from an excellent week at Villa Fengaraki. The house is well equipped and comfortable: the air conditioning in the bedrooms was so welcome at night and the large shaded terrace with comfortable sofas and table and chairs was a real haven during the daytime and for family meals in the evenings. The views from the terrace are stunning and we really appreciated the peaceful location of the villa. Frances the owner was very responsive and helpful when we had questions and her instructions for the route from the airport were impeccable. Lixouri is only 10 minutes away with plenty of supermarkets, bakeries and butchers as well as cafés and restaurants if you wish to eat out. We spent two excellent evenings at the taverna around the corner from the house and really appreciated the home grown vegetables and wonderful home-cooked food there. Kefalonia has fairly low-key tourist development, stunning beaches and beautiful views - we fell in love with it and would return in a heartbeat.

The villa is absolutely perfect. The rooms are all well equipped, it was very clean with a lovely pool. Our favourite spot to relax was the veranda on the front of the property which is equipped with comfortable sofas and a large dining table and chairs. We referred to it as the "Library" as we spent many happy hours reading there and enjoying the lovely view. The position of the villa is just right, far enough out of Lixouri to be quiet but close enough to drive in (car essential) to get the ferry to Argostoli and beyond or to all the restaurants. We were a party of 6 ranging in age from 72 to 14 and everyone had a lovely holiday. The owners of the villa were really caring and friendly.
