Wir waren eine Woche bei Penny und Richard im Beach Way Cottage und haben diese Woche sehr genossen. Das Cottage ist gut ausgestattet, es ist alles da was man benötig. Selbst Schaufeln und Eimer für den Strand. Sollte doch mal etwas fehlen, dann braucht man sich keine Sorgen machen, denn die beiden kümmern sich sofort darum. Penny und Richard haben sich sehr viel Mühe gegeben uns die Zeit bei Ihnen so schön wie möglich zu machen und haben uns auch bei unserer Freizeitplanung unterstützt. Auch die Kajaks durften wir benutzen um in der Bucht einen Ausflug zu machen. Wir freuen uns schon auf den nächsten Besuch bei Penny und Richard!

Couldn't ask for a better location in the Square at Cawsand. Apartment well equipped and maintained, had everything we needed. Richard and Penny very welcoming and friendly with plenty of local tips. Thoroughly recommend.

Very enjoyable week in Beach Way. Perfect spot on the square right opposite the beach. Penny and Richard couldn’t have been nicer - happy to give us tips of places to go/things to see - nothing was too much trouble. Accommodation was very comfortable, clean and well equipped.

What a wonderful break we have had staying in the Beachway Cottage in Sunny Cawsand! The accommodation was perfect, beautiful, clean, and cosy. Thanks Richard and Penny for making us feel so welcome

We cannot thank the owners Richard and Penny West enough for having such a warm and comfortable flat to let in the best part of Cawsands. As you enter the flat the living room is equipped with a fireplace, dining table (seating for 6 people) and very comfortable sofa, a small variety of novels and magazines to read through and a flat screen tv for the evenings. The kitchen has everything needed for home cooked meals, a microwave and fridge/freezer. The bathroom has a very spacious stand up shower with remarkable hot water and pressure. There are 2 bedrooms each with a large wardrobe for clothes. The master bedroom has a queen sized bed for 2 people as well as a single bed. The second room has a queen bed and desk. The pillows / sheets and overall cleanliness was impeccable (great job on the cleanliness!!). Have a cup of tea in the back court yard and enjoy the beautiful blossoming flowers and little garden that Richard and Penny work hard at keeping neat and tidy. Out the front of the flat into the square you are nearly on the beach. A 10 second walk will have you overlooking Cawsand Beach. A small, east-facing beach on the Rame Peninsula in the far south east of Cornwall. The beach, which is predominantly sand and shingle with some rock pools to explore at low tide, is set in a sheltered location, backed by woodland, overlooking Plymouth Sound. If you want a break from the beach and enjoying walking and hiking you can choose from either a walk in the forest or a coastal walk near Kingsands with plenty of benches to sit and enjoy the beautiful view of Plymouth Sound. My wife and I are well traveled and have stayed in many rental flats around the globe. The owners Penny, Richard, their daughter Kerry and her son Ace are the most friendly family based house unit we have had the pleasure in staying in. We highly recommend anyone coming down to stay in @beach way.

Great location on village square in ground floor apartment of cottage. 2 mins walk to beach and pub serving good food next door. Comfy beds, great shower and everything else you need for a good break. 3 other pubs in town (with Kingsand) and some great food on offer. We had great weather but if you were there during a cold break an open fire with supply of logs and coal all there and available to use.

Wonderful accommodation, wonderful location and wonderful hosts. It’s just the little things that makes me want to rave about this place, e.g. milk and a bottle of wine, tea, coffee and most of all bog roll! The major things were how clean it was and how homely it made you feel. It was the RnR that we were looking for.

Fabulous cottage, convenient location. Penny & Richard couldn't have been more helpful. Husband has disability problems, to which Richard changed all the lovely courtyard to accommodate him with his scooter. My daughter was getting at Polhawn Fort mid week and we could not have booked a more convenient location for our stay. Gorgeous food at the Cross Keys Pub next door which we frequented most nights. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay ,flat was very clean and very comfortable,had everything we needed.Hosts very welcoming and shared local knowledge .It is a great location 2 minutes from the beach.We look forward to returning.Thank you

Beach Way is in a great place, located in the Square, Cawsand. Just seconds from the beautiful beach and staggering distance from the nearest pub. We felt really at home in this beautiful apartment/cottage, everything has been thought of and Penny and Richard who live above are just wonderful people and made us feel very welcome. The four pubs in Cawsand/Kingsand are just great and all serve very good meals. We found all the locals extremely friendly. The villages of Cawsand and Kingsand are just stunning. You can get a ferry right from the beach over to the Barbican in Plymouth, this operates during fine weather, April to October I believe. A really nice trip. The scenery in the area is outstanding and there are some lovely walks. We were very blessed with the weather and had a thoroughly enjoyable week, so much so that we are returning to Beach Way for a week to see in the New Year. Cannot wait to return.
