Our family of 16, ranging in age from 4 to 76, had the most amazing Christmas at Podere Le Rondini. The villa was charming, clean and comfortable, close to Florence but set in the beautiful Tuscan countryside. Nicola, our host who speaks perfect English, made our visit so easy. With his inimitable charm and efficiency, he truly made our Christmas in Tuscany memorable.

great place to stay
Traveled for a family wedding held on site with over 16 guests, Nicola was always on site and very accommodating. Rooms were very neat and clean with all amenities, kitchen units were great to make some of our own meals, Nicola arraigned for our ground transportation, rental car and daily excursions, we had a chef prepare the meal on site for the wedding day which was fantastic as was the chef for the cooking class also on site. Special thanks to Nicola for all you did to make my daughters wedding a very special day.

Is it really this perfect?
I have never written a review for any place, yet this place was TOO good not to give it a review. Where to start....
We stayed in a one bedroom villa with a huge bathroom, wonderful sitting area that looked out on the property, a full fledged kitchen and a sitting area out on the patio all for $100 (off-season). The furniture and decorations were new and the place was as cleanly as it gets. The bed was comfortable, the shower had perfect pressure, the windows had nice curtains with wonderful views. The grounds were well kept and gave a wonderful view of the owners (Nicola) vineyard.
The breakfast was delicious, geared toward what we wanted and delivered to our sitting area so that we woke to a wonderful breakfast that we could take out on to the patio to overlook the rolling hills of Florence. Breakfast involved coffee, juice, flavored croissants and a special breakfast cake that Nicola's wife had made.
The surrounding area had beautiful scenes of rolling hills with a castle not too far away. Florence was about a thirty minute trip and other areas were within driving distance.
There was also a selection of wines and olive oil that we could purchase from the property as well.
But, I saved the best for last. The owner, Nicola. We have never been treated in such a way at any Bed and Breakfast or anywhere in fact. He drove us wherever we went to for a very reasonable fee. He gave us ideas on what to see, gave us the history of Italy and gave us any answers to any odd questions we came up with. If you stay at this place for only him; I promise you will not be disappointed.
Our experience was magical. We have even discusd traveling back to Florence for the sole purpose of spending more time at this wonderful Bed and Breakfast. Do yourself a favor and book this place now.

Incredible Accommodations for our Group of 34!
My daughter and son-in-law chose this Villa in Tuscany for their wedding based on all positive reviews. This was by far the most perfect location for their wedding. Nicola couldn't have been more accommodating. The perfect host. If we needed anything he responded within 5 minutes. The grounds and view were stunning. The many kitchens all were furnished with Refrigerators, Stoves, microwaves and dishwashers. We had a group of 34 and everyone was impressed with the Villa. We toured the Winery and the house wine was fantastic. I'm sort of a wine snob and ended up having 3 cases shipped home to me. Also they produce Olive Oil which I plan to have shipped home to me. If I travel to Tuscany again I will definitely be staying here. If you stay here you won't be disappointed.

Great place to stay in Tuscany
Our stay at Pondere Le Rondini was great. Each bedroom had a private bathroom and the grounds were beautiful. The owner Nicholi was awesome and very responsive. We were provided with fresh bread each morning and the local wine and fresh olive oil was delicious!! We highly recommend Pondere Le Rhondini if you are planning a trip to Tuscany.

Fantastic Italian Vacation Resort
My husband and I, along with our daughter’s family (4 adults, 3 children) spent a fantastic 7 days with Nicola and his family at Podere Le Rondini.
Our accommodations in FIENILE COTTAGE were perfect for our group – 4 bedrooms (each with their own bath), 2 living rooms and 2 kitchens. We were amazed that this property is over 200 years but very tastefully renovated – like a 5 Star resort!
The website pictures definitely do not do justice for this beautiful resort and surrounding rolling hills/vineyards of the Tuscany area.
The location were perfect to do day trips into Florence, Pisa, San Gimignano, Lucca, Volterra, Cirque Terra, and of course a tour of local wineries and Montespertoli. The little town Montespertoli is less than a mile away with cute restaurants and shopping
Nicola arranged a private tour guide for a tour of wineries and surrounding countryside. It was a perfect day to end our vacation.
Nicola and his family are perfect hosts. Nicola was so gracious and always there to assist with dinner recommendations, travel tips, and anything else we could ever ask for – even supplying wine from the property.
Paola, Nicola’s mother, and his sister prepared a dinner meal in their home for us one night! It was one of the highlights of the visit. It was delicious and a perfect Tuscan dinner.
Nicola was a host beyond anything you could dream of. Anytime you needed anything he was there with a smile on his face!!!!
We Highly recommend Podere Le Rondini for the perfect vacation. You will not be disappointed.

IF YOU ARE COMING FROM THE NORTH or SOUTH OF ITALY:On the Highway A1 exit “Firenze-Scandicci”. Take the Superway SGC-Firenze-Pisa-Livorno (or FI-PI-LI) and exit “Ginestra Fiorentina”, then turn right following the direction to “Montespertoli” onto the SP80. Follow this road for about 7 km and, once arrived in the village of Baccaiano, then turn right onto “Via Volterrana (SP4)” and after 300 m turn left following the direction to “Certaldo-Fornacette”. After 1,5 km turn left following the directions to “Poppiano” and remain on this road: the entrance to PODERE LE RONDINI is the first gate on the left, at n.1. Welcome!
