We spent a week at Villa Petrea in the summer and it is hard to fault. It is as lovely as pictured in beautiful, peaceful surroundings. It is comfortable and meticulously maintained. Jois is a fantastic host, even coming out at 11.30 on the Friday night to sort out an issue with the air con. We also enjoyed an excellent meal prepared by a local cook, arranged by Jois. Highly recommended.

The Perfect Tuscan Villa
Recently returned from an incredible stay at the Villa Petrea. We were a group of 13 ranging in age from 13 to 78. We all became a little giddy as we approached and it just got better and better.
We instantly found the Villa enchanting, magical, well located, peaceful - in a word, perfect. The view is nothing short of spectacular.
Our host, Jois, was most helpful with some arrangements and just delightful. We made very good use of the pool (no chlorine), spa, two outdoor dining areas and wood fired oven and BQ. Beds were very comfortable, bathrooms beautifully designed, and AC was used only in the evening on part of the 1st floor and the tower.
Day trips to Siena, Arezzo, San Gimignano and Chicanti country worked out vey well,-some went as far as Pisa and Lucca. We’re were able to use the Bucine train station for Florence and Arezzo. The shops in Bucine met all of our daily needs,- local Coop, butcher shop (Slow Foods) and next door fruit and vegetable store among others. It’s an easy walk from the Villa.
Villa Petrea truly exceeded all of our expections. We had a simply wonderful time and would go back in a heartbeat.

Experience of a lifetime!
Our family (15 of us) had the most amazing experience at this beautiful villa in the hills of Tuscany. It was well taken care of, as were we. It looks exactly like the online photos, has gorgeous views and lots of space to enjoy - living room, kitchen, dining room, verandas, porches, pool, sauna, hot tub, gardens. There were bicycles to rent, a ping pong table, areas for outdoor dining. Jois and Maria helped us with everything and anything we needed. The small town of Bucine is in walking distance and located there was a bank, restaurant, Coop supermarket, bakery, fruit market, and a small park. It was so fun to walk down the hill to town. Also within walking distance is a lovely vineyard where we had a great wine tasting experience and were able to buy wines/olive oil and have it shipped to the USA. We also enjoyed seeing all their farm animals! Jois arranged a cooking class in the villa for us, and then we enjoyed our food in an amazing setup outside. Another day we had a pizza party at the villa with endless types of pizza cooked on their outside wood burning oven - amazing! The villa is also in walking distance to a train station, and we took the train to Arezzo, Cortona and Florence for day trips. Our stay was incredible, and I still dream about it!

Insomma: consigliatissimo!

⭐️Villa, Pool, Spa & great Host⭐️- best Place in Tuscany for a bog group!
4 German families (10 Kids) together in 1 house for 1 week! Crazy! Impossibile?
We did it! Only possible in a wonderful place like Villa Petrea with our great host Jois and his family !
After a very long exhausting trip we all were so happy for choosing this spot that offered all we needed: a huge dining room and a well equipped kitchen, nice & clean rooms (each with bathrooms), a romantic garden with a lot of opportunities to rest and relax, but also space to play football and badminton, and last but not least: a great big refreshing pool& spa area!
We had a wonderful tasty Tuscan diner by Maria, Clarissa& Jois showed us how to make real Italian Pizza in the Stone oven!
Jois also organized a very interesting and joyful trip to the winery Poggio Molina where we spent a very funny evening with nice People.
Paintball .....ouch, ok, was big fun, too. 🤣
Mans thanks to Jois, his family (especially Clarissa) and his staff for all your service- we had a great and unforgettable holiday!
Best for you all! Stay healthy ! Yours Jasmin
