Outside the cottage there are more than 11.000 meters square of garden composed by a rocket garden in front of the house, a panoramic terrace, a principal garden with footbal field, a typical street in roman style which take to a delicious square, near it there's a vast expanse of park with fruit trees and an old woodshed and a little private church.
A minute's walk from the location there are a Bar and a supermarket and two tipical and delicious italian restaurant.
The position where is located this cottage is strategic for start you Rome's tour and visit Romans Castles towns.
The breakfast is included and will be served into the cottage or in the surrounding garden.

Without doubt the best accommodation of our holiday in Italy, cottage spacious, clean and very nice as the owner always ready to answer to our requests.
The connection with Rome center is very easy, you can leave the car at Frascatti station and in 30 minutes you get the city, the owner gave us even the option of the metro but trying the both we preferred the first.
If we come back in Italy we surely return to Alessandro's house

Stunning little house
We loved so much our days at Alessandro's house. The apartment is located into an ancient villa of the past century with a neverending garden, the owner is a special guy, always with the smile and ready to help you in each need you can feel.
The price is fair and get Rome center is very easy with the train from Frascati.

Me and my wife had an amazing stay in this cozy cottage. The price for a week is very reasonable compared with other solution in the center of the city, we loved each corner of the garden too and the beautiful view up the hill.
The owner is very helpful to give you any advice about the towns that deserves a visit and about the best way to reach Rome.

Appartamento e Location da 10 e lode
Volevamo fare un giretto dalle parti di Roma senza spendere una fortuna e cercando anche nei paesi limitrofi ci siamo imbattuti in questa Casetta.
Abbiamo cercato anche su altri portali e leggendo una serie di recensioni positivissime ci siamo convinti.
Le nostre aspettative non sono rimaste deluse, bellissimo tutto: fiori, giardino e arredamento.
Roma è raggiungibile facilmente col treno da Frascati in circa 30 minuti, c'era anche l'opzione metro dalla stazione Anagnina ma per comodità e comfort abbiamo optato per la prima soluzione.
Da consigliare assolutamente.

soggiorno perfetto per famiglie e bambini
Con la mia famigliola abbiamo passato una vacanza davvero memorabile in questo posto. La Dolce Casetta non è soltanto molto bella e accogliente ma è situata in un bel punto, c'è un panorama meraviglioso ed ho apprezzato la bellezza dei giardini in fiore. I nostri bambini passavano i pomeriggi a correre qua e là nel parco, cogliere margherite e giocare nell'area tutta per loro. La vicinanza ai castelli romani e a Roma mi porterà a soggiornare nuovamente qui, prezzi concorrenziali e super disponibilità del titolare.

great location
The cottage is comfortable and in an ideal setting. Alessandro was very helpful and a good host. The grounds are very well maintained. We took the train from Frascati train station (the trains run every hour) as it was easier to park there at 5 euros a day than at the metro station Anagnina during the week.

A SLICE OF HEAVEN AT LA DOLCE CASSETTA!
My husband and I recently had the pleasure of spending five days at La Dolce Cassetta. It was EVERYTHING Alessandro promised and more. From the moment he met us at the airport until we said a sad goodbye five days later, Alessandro was attentive to all our needs without being intrusive. He helped us straighten out our rental car problem, refusing to leave us until he knew all was well. The cassetta was cleaned daily and supplied with fresh linens. Having a well-equipped kitchen, ( AND A WASHING MACHINE), was an added bonus, even though a fantastic restaurant is a five minute walk away. He had, thoughtfully, left juice, cola, pastries, fruit, water and milk for us and the pastries were replaced as needed. Coffee and tea were also provided. The bed was very comfortable and, with the windows closed to block any street noise and morning light, we found ourselves sleeping later and later each day. The grounds surrounding the villa and the cassetta were beautiful and everything you expect Italy to be. I can't imagine anyone not falling in love with this place!

Quaint cottage, ideally situated to view Rome and surrounding area.
Three of us recently spent a very pleasant week in this lovely cottage. It was ideally situated to reach Rome which took about 20 minutes on the metro. We also hired a car and viewed some of the surrounding countryside including the lakes and the gardens and villa in Tivoli. Alessandro was charming and helpful and recommended a couple of good restaurants. He also kept the house really clean and topped up the cakes regularly.
