The apartment Libeccio is situated in the former barn and has a private entrance and outdoor patio area. The ground floor consists of a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine with living /dining area, flatscreen TV and a bathroom with large shower. On the upper floor there are 2 bedrooms: a double and a twin with a bathroom.

The country house provides a comfortable location for your holiday and an excellent base from which to explore the surrounding local area: the medieval village of Castellabate an inhabited UNESCO heritage site, the neighbouring fishing harbour village of San Marco, small unspoilt villages in the Cilento hills, the Greek Temples and museum of Paestum, or better known tourist attractions along the Amalfi coast, Pompeii, Naples, Caserta or Velia, Ascea, Acciaroli or Palinuro to the south further afield.
Ligea the waterfront fish restaurant in the village belongs to the property and guests can enjoy meals on the deck terrace waterfront

About the neighborhood
The Campania region stretches across vast area including coastal regions, sandy beaches and inland mountains and villages of unspoilt beauty. Still largely unknown and undiscovered by tourists it also embraces other better known tourist locations on the Amalfi coast
Excursions There are a wide selection of excursions available and within driving distance of the property: the Amalfi coast with its steep dramatic cliffs and stunning views, the villages of Vietri,Amalfi, Ravello, Positano and Sorrento further afield. The island of Capri can be visited as a day excursion and the historic sites of Paestum (20 min by car) Pompeii (1 hr car) and Velia provide a cultural insight into the historic past of the region. There are also a variety of grottoes and caves Castelcivita and Pertosa that provide a fascinating alternative as well as simply enjoying historic villages dotted about rugged hillsides where time has stood still and tourists are few and far between
There are variety of shops supermarkets bars and ice cream shops in the main village pedestrian street in the centre.
Getting around
A car is recommended however if you enjoy walking the village centre and sandy beaches can be reached in a leisurely 25 minute walk.
Buses from the village run a service to the neighbouring towns and Paestum and Pompei.
