Flora Homes is one of the major reasons why we will come back again to Madikeri. Mr. Imran and Uncle Harun have spared no effort in ensuring that their homestay is the best in Coorg. Every aspect of the homestay is beyond expectation and available at very competitive rates. They are a very established family and own several properties and a 60 acre coffee plantation in Coorg. You become their responsibility the moment you reach Coorg. They will even relax the 11am checkin if you reach early. We got the much needed 2 hour od sleep the day we reached after the night journey. Pros : 1) Prompt response and transparent dealings 2) Very Clean Property, well kept gardens and surroundings. 3) Very high quality beds, mattresses, pillows, duvet, crisp white towels, sanitised washrooms. 4) Remarkable room service and breakfast 5) They provide you will an itinerary suggestion and guide you every step. We had such a wonderful stay at Flora Homes. Due to some technical reasons from an online website, our booking was not registered at the home stay. Despite the problem we were happily accommodated by Mr. Imran and his dad (both wonderful people to deal with). The room given to us was exactly as per our expectations, very clean containing all amenities. They also have 24 hours hot water which is an added bonus. All the staff are very nice and helpful (specially Srinivas). The complimentary breakfast provided was as per our choice and it was yummy and wholesome. The property is close to the local market and is easily accessible. Guests staying at Flora Homes will feel very much at home. Imran’s dad (a thorough gentle man and a very loving person) was very helpful in guiding us to visit different places in and around Coorg. My sincere thanks to Imran and his dad for providing us a warm, hospitable and enjoyable stay at their property. I would highly recommend it to any guest planning to visit Coorg. We had pleasant 2 night stay with entire family. The rooms provided were neat and tidy. Since we had booked a home stay, we had the entire dinner hall , living room for us. The hosts were very friendly and provided all the information we needed. They even did guide us on the places we can visit based on our schedule. Complimentary breakfast was provided as per our choice and the taste was yummy.. Must try set dosa and vada. They even helped us order dinner and was served perfect. Early morning coffee was a real booster for the day. Donot miss the coffee that was prepared at their own kitchen. They did maintain a beautiful garden and perfect place for superb clicks This place is closer to most of the tourist attractions that helped us save our time in travelling. Thanks flora for a wonderful stay and hope to stay again when we come down to Coorg.

We checked in on 4th May,and had 6 rooms for 16 members. All 6 rooms were such clean with all amenities available we asked them for. 2 days complimentary breakfast was too good as well. It was like a home for us, we had been given full freedom to enjoy. Service man working there were too helpful till last minute.Secured as well to stay. Peaceful place to stay at Flora. Extremely happy with the service we got. Would recommend this to as many as possible if anyone reaches me on a visit to coorg.!! Thanks Imran and to his dad for cooperating with us last 2 days.

I and our friends stayed there for 2 days and the environment there was really good. The rooms were clean when we entered and also the Bathroom was hygienic. The room was cleaned every time after we checked out. The room contained all amenities. The bed was sufficient enough for 3 of us to sleep. The people working there were really friendly and helped us with things we need at any time. Such a nice place to stay and I would recommend people to check out this place.

Please don't be fooled by the photos shown in the google. The rooms are not maintained properly. The interiors are having fungus and stains. All the furniture are very very old without any maintenance. This property is very old tile-roofed property. The surrounding also not good. Complimentary breakfast was served, that food cause for vomiting

Enjoyed the stay it self there......greatest possible hospitality of the hotel management ...rooms are highly well maintained ...very clean ....cost of room also unbelievable very economical ......if stay is perfect we can enjoy entire tour ....this is of same kind ....had a great garden can walk around and can have chit chat with frnds .....just go for it

We ( family with kids) booked this homestay from TripAdvisor. Below is our detailed experience: - Period of stay: 29th Sep to 2nd Oct - We contacted the host and asked for quote with our requirement and received a timely, prompt response with affordable quote. - The homestay is within Madikeri and easily reachable following google map. Parking is available. We traveled on hired vehicle. - Checkin time was flexible depending on availablilty of room (we reached there at 7 am IST and they kept the room ready) - Rooms were neat & clean and well maintained (this homestay has done a recommendable job to maintain the rooms after this year's continuous rains in Coorg) - Hot water was available round the clock. - Rooms were freshened up daily. - Hosts are very warm, friendly and caring towards kids as well as towards our driver. If you are new, they guide you/ your driver as well to plan your trip. - Caretaker and room service was on time and they attended us promptly whenever we called. Overall a pleasant and comfortable stay with good service and hospitality. Highly recommended.

Located in very close proximity to Madikeri City, from the time we enquired about the place, owners guided us on arriving at the facility. Simple, neat and clean facility, owners and caretakers very friendly. Owners ensured that caretakers were attending requirements. We were two families and were very happy with the stay. Complimentary breakfast (South Indian) was excellent. We were guided to places to visit including travel arrangements which they connected us to, although due to the rains we could not make it. Large Drawing room and balcony / sit-out were made available to us. Overall a good experience, and we look forward to our next stay there.
