The Farmhouse is an amazing venue full of rustic charm and is ideal for a large group, as it sleeps up to 14 people.
It boasts a spacious Lounge room, a large seperate Dining room, a full-sized Kitchen which has a Gas Stove, Microwave and also a Wood fired Stove, 2 bathrooms, 2 toilets and 4 bedrooms.
To keep you warm in the Winter there is a Log fire in the Lounge room and also the Dining room and the beds have warm doona’s and extra blankets. All Fire Wood, Linen, Towels and Cooking Utensils are supplied
For your comfort during the warmer months the house is fully fly screened and has ceiling fans in all bedrooms, plus the lounge room.

Great for Groups
We stayed here over a long weekend with a group of friends. It has sleeping for 14 and 4 bedrooms. It is what it is, an old farmhouse but has all of the facilities that you need, warm and cosy beds and a pot belly stove in the lounge, There are a couple of wineries nearby but we hired a mini bus one day to take us to a few in Stanthorpe as the main town is 20minutes away. However with the taven a 2minute walk and the general store at the end of the street you have practically everything you need anyway. Its on a bit of land as well. We all had a ball and would go back again for round 2!

How to get there
From Brisbane It's about 2 to 2.5 hour drive. Go via Warwick then onto Stanthorpe take the by-pass. Ballandean is 10 to 15 mins south of Stanthorpe. Follow signs for Ballandean Winery and Ballandean Tavern. When you get to Ballandean you will see a small train station on your left Take the left hand turn into Eukey Rd the tavern is on your left. On your right is the Farmhouse about 2 mins past the Tavern The exact address for those with a NAVMAN is 2635 Eukey Rd Ballandean
From Trenterfield
Ballandean is a 30min drive from Tenterfield. Take the signs for Girraween National Park and Ballandean. You will also see signs for Ballandean Tavern and Ballandean Winery. You will drive past the Ballandean Winery turn off and take the right turn
