Ford Cottage has recently been restored and extended to provide spacious and stylish holiday accommodation for up 8 people and even boasts a dog shower for muddy dogs, bikes etc ! There are extensive countryside views from every window.
It's adjacent to The Ford Inn, which serves food and close to Holmfirth with many amenities.
Relax by the log burning fire, raid the well stocked bookcase and charge your batteries in style.

I stayed in Ford Cottage with my wife and some friends for a long weekend. The house is lovely with the master bedroom in particular being impressive. The house was spacious and well equipped and in a great location for getting out and about into the countryside. The nearby town has lots of nice places to eat and the scenery in the area is amazing.

Superb place!
Ford Cottage is a splendid house, beautiful, clean, warm and with everything you need for a restful stay. We went for a combination of local walking, eating and home cooking with friends, and it was just perfect - thank you.

Absolutely amazing cottage!
I used the cottage as a base for my bridal party and even though I live locally it felt like we were on holiday!
The cottage is beautiful, spacious yet cosy and the owners have thought of everything to make it a home from home but with lots of added extras….like a dog shower!
The master bedroom is amazing. The photographs don’t do it justice.
It’s the perfect place to holiday with family or friends, lots of space inside and out and it was super clean too!
The owners were so helpful when we needed to change our booking and checking in was effortless.

Absolutely fabulous stay
We have just returned from a wonderful break at Ford Cottage. The cottage was perfectly located for the places we were visiting. It has been restored really well and the bathrooms and entire property are to a very clean high standard. It was great to sit out in the garden and enjoy the landscape.
Highly recommended.

Most impressive amenities, very well appointed.
Great care evident in the layout of this impressive and spacious property. Very well appointed and excellent location for exploring West Yorkshire. Useful adjacent parking for several vehicles.Spectacular views. Nearby Holmfirth is a characterful, interesting and useful centre.

What a fabulous place
We traveled from Oulton Broad in Suffolk to Holmfirth Huddersfield to this fabulous cottage. We couldn’t have asked for more. The bedrooms were comfortable and the whole place very clean. Thank you, and we will be back!

Perfect for a girls weekend or for a family trip away!
We loved our stay at Ford Cottage, we live locally but hired the whole house for our wedding weekend. I stayed with my Bridesmaids the night before and then we had family staying throughout the weekend. It was perfect!
Kim was brilliant, nothing was too much hassle for her and she was at the end of the phone if we needed anything. The house is beautiful and well looked after, it had everything we needed and spare glasses etc for any extra guests that called for some bubbles! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing get away!

Perfect Cottage and location!
Just returned home from a lovely girls weekend away. The cottage catered for all our needs. No towels needed no cleaning products to pack. Plenty of wood burner logs, under floor heating was a delight. Very clean. Views gorgeous.

Perfect cottage for a relaxing family holiday!
A very comfortable and cosy cottage done out to a high standard. The rooms were modern and a good size. With the perfect weather we had, we really enjoyed spending time in the large fully enclosed garden.
