The second-floor bedroom is a fabulous cone-shaped room, with an ensuite bathroom.
This room includes a double inbuilt bed and a single one, which can be used as a couch too.
The absolute quietness, the luxury, the serenity and the privacy of the facilities, as well as the minimal architecture of the windmills, will more than meet your expectations and will make your stay a memorable one.

We booked the villa with our best friends to celebrate big milestone anniversaries. The villas are outside of the busy areas on the island, and provided a relaxing and secluded getaway.
Having our own pool, daily breakfast, comfortable accommodations and a great location to get to many areas of the island easily was a great way to spend time on Santorini. Thinking that Oia or Thira would have been more limiting and chaotic.
Niko and his wife were great hosts, and we were welcomed with rose petals and an anniversary setup.

A little piece of heaven
After many years of staying in Skiathos Greece we decided that it was time for a change (although we did go to Skiathos in May).
We had looked at staying in Thira or Oia but felt with twin 15 year old boys this would be ok for a few days but any longer would drive either them or is to jump into the Caldera itself.
We opted to stay at the Windmill Villa (green), as although close to Thira and Oia it also had access to the whole of the island. The windmills are even better than any review we have read to date, the location all though away from the maddening crowds is ideal and you can chill out and relax whilst overlooking the beautiful Aegean Sea, there always seems to be a cooling sea breeze that ensures all though hot it is not overbearing.
The villas are everything you could ask for, they have all the mod cons but still retain the character of a windmill, the pool is great and sun beds and towels are provided, breakfast at a time of your choice is served under the canopy that provides shade throughout the day.
The service is excellent and Nikos is at hand to meet and greet you, provide you with an overview of where to go, what to see, where to eat and can be contacted throughout the stay.
It was our boys 15th Birthday during our stay and Nikos helped organise a great Catermeran trip which included snorkelling, swimming in the hot spats, on board barbecue and finishing with a view of a great sunset (one of many we saw) and if you get up early enough you can see the beautiful sunrises from the villa.
Santorini has a lot to offer, away from Thira and Oia you can see the lovely beaches at Kamari and Perissa.
So would I recommend?, yes, would I go back?, yes, so thanks to Nikos and family for making our visit to Santorini so good, keep up the good work and try not to change to much.

A beautiful location; the best villa on the island
This is a beautiful villa, one of a group of three, situated on the quieter eastern side of the island. Although there are two neighbouring windmills; at no point did you feel that you had lost any privacy. The pool is immaculate and the villa itself is kept immaculately, with daily maid service. It has everything you might need for a self catering stay and the air conditioning a must as the weather in late July is a pretty consistent 30 degrees C.The owners could not have been more helpful throughout the whole holiday and the build-up; helping with car hire and transfer from the airport, providing all the information we needed and giving us excellent recommendations of places to eat. It was a very special place to stay and I would highly recommend it.

perfectly windmill
The windmill was very nice: Thr furniture perfectly. The pool super. The service perfectly. The little towns of Santorini are very interesting. But so much people at all, very touristing area.

.....Santorini nel cuore
È stata la nostra prima volta a Santorini,il soggiorno al mulino è stato meraviglioso sia per la sua location tranquilla sia per la bellezza della struttura.
Piscina e terrazzo sono il pezzo forte del mulino,la totale privacy permette un totale relax al sole.
Il mulino ha tutti i comfort che si desiderano, Nikos è un ragazzo serio e preciso pronto a soddisfare tutte le esigenze ed aiutare ad integrarsi nella meravigliosa isola di Santorini.
Un ringraziamento particolare per aver reso la nostra vacanza un ricordo indimenticabile....

The most classy, romantic and peaceful week of my life
A memorable stay in a unique miracle of architecture. In a peaceful location, just 10 minutes far ,from the center of the island, by car. Me and my fiance enjoyed very much the private pool and the privacy of the property. Great garden with flower and great service and hospitality by the owners, Nikos and Fotini. We definitely will be back again in the future.

Great location, wonderful property in a beautiful location.
We had a wonderful holiday in the Green windmill. The weather was fantastic and the location of the property meant that we had a very relaxing time. Easy access to everywhere on the island.

On the way to Ia you meet several beaches like Kouloumbo,Baxedes, etc. Access to restaurants, supermarkets and caldera view only 10 minutes away by car.The sunrise reflection on the surface of the sea, is visible even from your beds.
When darkness falls, you can make wishes and dream while you watch the falling stars and the milky way.
The nearest beach, named Pori, is 700 meters far. The black sand, the red cliffs, the clean, safe and warm water, make the beach ideal to swim.
