House Rental
Private house on gated 43 acres with pool, jungle/valley/oceans views.
Fully equipped kitchen, handicap accessible. Open common area for kitchen, wet bar, dining room overlooking the pool.
Laundry service is available at $7 per load. Drop off at 8a.m. and it will be returned next morning. If you need expedited service let us know.
Trash removal as required.
Beach towels are available for rent at $5 a day per towel. (House towels are not permitted for beach use).
Beach mats are available for rent at $3 per mat
Beach chairs are available for rent at $5 per day
Caretaker 24/7 at the entrance for security, laundry service or general needs.
A 4x4 vehicle will be needed for the public road to the property and most of your excursions.

Vista Espectacular
Un lugar precioso. Casa cómoda,amplia, limpia y con todo lo necesario para pasar unos días de descanso.
Tiene la belleza de la playa y la montaña en un solo lugar. Desde la piscina se ve la "cola de la ballena" distintivo del lugar.
Lugar perfecto para vacacionar.
Los dueños super amables.
Hemos ido 2 veces y volveremos!!!

Paradisíaco!!
Recomendado! Mi familia y yo, alquilamos la casa para la primera semana de enero. Quedamos fascinados! La casa se sitúa en lo alto de la montaña, con una vista espectacular de la cola de la ballena. La casa cuenta con toda las facilidades necesarias.
La tranquilidad se mantiene todo el día, sin ruidos de la ciudad. Uno se encuentra rodeado de los sonidos de la jungla, pájaros y hasta una variedad de monos, sobre todo, congos!
La zona de la piscina es perfecta para los chicos, junto con una terraza para que los adultos se relajen. Es la opción perfecta para escapar de la rutina y renovarse.
Los dueños fueron super atentos con nosotros todo el tiempo, siempre preocupados por darnos la mejor estadía y que contáramos con todo. Fueron muy accesibles y nos ayudaron a escoger lugares que visitar y comer.
Quedamos encantados, tanto que estamos buscando nuevas fechas para volver!

Spectacular Home, Amazing Views & Very Private
Arriving to our rental home was a huge WOW moment !!
FYI: Bring lots of memory disks and batteries for your cameras, because you are coming to the most amazing vacation home ever.
We are now in Costa Rica and the home definitely makes you feel like your in the middle of the jungle.
This home is beautifully maintained and decorated for comfort. It is very private with a large pool and views of the ocean and jungle from every room.
I would sleep with my camera so I could start taking photos when I opened my eyes
every morning. I'd hurry downstairs to make my coffee, grab my camera and start taking pictures. A little yellow bird was near the pool every morning to say hello.
Everyday I would wake up earlier just so I wouldn't miss the sunrise and any new animals to see.
Drinking my coffee and going for a walk before my daughter would wake up was my quiet time.
Sometimes I would grab a chair and hike with it so I could sit and hear all the animals in different locations.
My camera is loaded with so many memories of all the sunrises/sunsets, the birds, monkey's, butterflies, moths, pray mantes plus hundreds of plants, tree's and waterfalls.
Imagine how wonderful it is to cook in an open air living space with no windows and endless views. The amenities are plentiful and I love to cook, so many evenings it was beautiful to enjoy the views while creating a home cooked meal.
After dinner we would take a quick swim and play a fun game to end our day.
The funny thing is: I brought a book to read, but.... I never got through the first page, which is very unusual for me.
There was so many things to do, see and enjoy, including the many parks, beaches, eateries, tours, and local towns up and down the coast to buy gifts. We always came home at dark and enjoyed the evening in the pool or relaxed playing games.
My daughter and I will be coming back to this home with so many wonderful memories. This is the place to book your vacation.

Julia, it was so much fun having you and your daughter here. We too enjoyed those morning coffee’s, home cooked meals and games with you both. Your enthusiasm, curiosity and dIY abilities are inspiring. The conversations were wonderful and your daughter a pure jewel (pardon the pun). Please do come back!

BEST LOCATION IN UVITA
Lori’s place is a taste of how ballers retire. It’s no reason to leave the house if you have a good group of friends. It overlooks everything including the beach where Whale Tail is. Every morning we woke up to the sounds of various tropical animals (The howler monkeys were the most noticeable of course). I will not stay anywhere else whenever I’m in Uvita. You will want a 4x4 SUV or truck to get to the location but Lori and Bobby will help you with anything you need. She’s a firecracker and he’s laid back like me. Perf combo. Great People!

R & B were awesome. If only everyone would embrace life as they do what joy the days could be. Adventurous, funny and chill, loving the pura vida life. I wish these guys had more days to spend on Finca Khan in Uvita and we can’t wait for their return. Perfect Peeps!

You don't want to miss out on this treasure!!!!
This awesome jungle retreat with the view of the whales tail and the mountains and jungle was seriously the highlight of our whole vacation in Costa Rica. This large property is secluded, quiet and peaceful. We loved relaxing by the pool while looking at all the beautiful views in every direction. The bedrooms are comfortable and everything we needed for our stay was provided. All we had to do was grab a few groceries and we were set. Of the many places we have stayed, I would honestly rate this one the best of the best!! We cannot wait to get back as soon as possible! The beach is just down the mountain, but we were content and comfortable relaxing here. Bobby and Lori were extremely nice and gave us tips and suggestions as this was our first time in Costa Rica. You do not want to miss out on this treasure!!! I will be back as soon as possible!

Por donde comenzar! ESPECTACULAR!
Desde el momento en que deciendes la calle para llegar a la casa de Lori, quedas maravillado por la vista maravillosa hacia el mar y las montañas de este increíble lugar! Realmente las fotos no hacen justicia a la majestuosidad de esta casa vacacional.
Privacidad al máximo, los sonidos de la naturaleza te envuelven y olvidas inmediatamente el estrés del día a día! La casa es abierta y fresca y te permite admirar toda la belleza a su alrededor. La casa tiene todo lo que necesitas para estar cómodamente, no sentiras la necesidad de salir!
El clima perfecto soleado en el día con la pisicna refrescante y en la tarde puedes experimentar una deliciosa lluvia tropical donde verás los Tucanes volar frente a tus narices y escucharas al mono aullando desde lo lejos
Sus balcones te dan la vista perfecta y relajación que se busca en un lugar como este, definitivamente volveremos porque Lori además de ser una gran anfitriona tiene su casa impecable y siempre estuvo pendiente de nuestra comodidad desde que salimos de la ciudad hasta que nos fuimos de su hermosa casa! Deben definitivamente venir y experimentar la naturaleza al máximo! 1000% recomendada!

Amazing view and property
We had an amazing time at Lori and Bobby's house in uvita. The view was absolutely amazing and the house was gorgeous and perfect for our family of 5. Both Bobby and Lori were very welcoming and excellent hosts and I would highly recommend this place to anyone wishing to stay in the Uvita area (our favorite area in Costa Rica)

Excellent place to relax
The week that we spent at Lori’s house was amazing! We were looking to have a relaxing vacation. My two kids, husband and I enjoyed ourselves in a paradisiac environment. Saw monkeys, macaws, and heard birds at down; saw outstanding sunsets without leaving the place. For the first two days we didn’t leave the house, enjoyed the private pool and the view. There’re marvelous beaches near by, we visit Uvita (whale’s tail). Lori is an excellent host, she recommended many places to eat, visit and plenty activities to do. She made sure we have everything we needed. We will definitely go back as soon as we can. This was one of the best experiences we’ve had.

Great place beautiful view
We enjoyed our three day stay at Lori’s amazing house. The view is stunning, it is absolutely prívate, and the bedrooms are really comfy. The kitchen is well-equipped and easy to cook in (we cooked two dinners) and there is a dining table on a lookout point at the edge of the property that is wonderfully romantic. The pool is great after visiting any of the nearby beaches and Lori is a very responsive host.

How to get there
A 4x4 vehicle will be needed for the public road to the property and most of your excursions.
Once you make the left at the BCR you will stay on the little “main” road. You will pass some stores a few speed bumps and then it will turn to gravel at which time there should be a cemetery on your right.
Once you pass the cemetery there is a fork in the road – stay left.
Continue to stay left on this “main” road (I believe there are maybe three right hand off shoots) until you see a long yellow concrete wall with a yellow gate and the name Finca Khan.
