Maples 1 is based in Broadstairs in a small modern development, that is quiet with low levels of traffic. It has a garden with benches for out door dining. There is a large lounge dinning area with flat-screen TV. On the ground floor there are 2 single bedrooms and 1 double bedroom. There is also a ground floor utility room with a toilet and shower, the ground floor bedrooms and shower are great for families. The first floor has 2 single bedrooms and 1 double bedroom, there is also a family bathroom with shower above the bath.
The kitchen is modern and fully equipped to enable meals to be prepared and served for the whole family. The dining table can seat up-to 6 using the benches; or it can be moved into the room and by use of chairs from the bedroom, it is able to seat up-to 8 people.

I stayed at this property for 4 nights with my children in August. The property is in a good position, not far from beaches and in a quiet location. Good parking provision to the front of the property. The rooms were equipped with all the furniture you need, although of a basic standard, and had some good touches like extension leads. The kitchen was adequately equipped with much of the cooking pans etc looking quite new.
However, there were a few things which marred our comfort:
The downstairs living accommodation is open plan kitchen/diner/living. The large fridge was VERY loud. You certainly couldn't spend a peaceful evening watching TV with it rumbling in the background. Worse still, the fridge backed onto a wall which adjoined one of the downstairs bedrooms. The noise of the fridge penetrated through the wall quite significantly and would stop many people from being able to sleep in that room.
Plus the owners have put in some bizarre water saving ideas. I've...
