The cottage is very comfortable and is really home from home with books, games, record player and Wii games console, games and 2 controllers. Comfortable sofas and beds with memory foam toppers for added comfort.
One king size bed and two singles (2 bedrooms). All bedding is provided and the bathroom is stocked with shower gel, shampoo and conditioner as well as toilet rolls. The kitchen is well stocked and includes cupboard non perishable basics like tea, coffee, sugar, cooking oil and condiments.
Downstairs :Kitchen, Living Room, bathroom and good sized hallway. Upstairs: 2 bedrooms, one with an ensuite toilet and sink. Secure garden with pond (please supervise small children), garden furniture, parasol and BBQ area.
For your dog, there is a medium sized dog crate in the cottage together with dog bowls, old towels and treats. The garden has a high fence or hedge the whole way around. The hedge has mesh inbetween. The gate is 3 foot high and can be extended if jumpers visit. We allow multiple dogs to visit, numbers dependant on visitors to ensure a comfortable stay.
Towels and tea towels are not provided - please take your own
Also available are beach chairs, windbreaks, buckets spades, beach games and boogy boards - even sledges for snowy weather, umberella and raincoats.

The cottage is no smoking and should be left clean and tidy on departure. Please do not leave your dog/s alone in the cottage for long periods. Guests will be asked to pay for any loss or damage (reasonable wear and tear excluded). Wifi and TV signal is not normally a problem but it cannot be guaranteed.
We stayed here last year with our two dogs. Lovely cottage great location very central for visiting Horsea . Everything you could want is supplied for your pooches the owner has thought of everything. Would definitely return

Fabulous
Just back from a wonderful 4 night stay at Grosvenor cottage. Quaint, Quirky , Cozy and when it says dog friendly it means dog friendly no ifs or buts. Stair gates of needed, throws and dog towels all provided,
The kitchen looks out directly over the pretty garden which made it a pleasure to do the washing up
Beds were comfy and the toilet/ washbasin upstairs was an added bonus.
The cottage was a lot bigger on the ground level than I thought it would be and the hall was a very welcome space when back from walks . The dogs did nick a sofa each but I was happy with the separate arm chair , everything about this break was perfect even the 5 hour drive home ( should have been 3) due to the snow couldn't put a dampner on it . Hopefully will go back in the Autumn xx

Batteries totally recharged
How to be looked after without the hosts actually being in the place you are staying. Every thought has been put into this cottage… a joy to stay here. I can’t recommend it more ❤️

Fabulous home from home
Grosvenor Cottage has everything you could possibly wish for. Lovely decor, comfy beds and quirky accommodation. Great base for seeing Hornsea and the surrounding area.
Our 2 dogs also loved it

Lovely presented cottage in beautiful Hornsea, we had a great time & thanks for the lovely extras, your beautiful cottage has everything you need for a relaxing holiday, so very homely...the area is fantastic & we were so lucky with the weather following the recent storms.
Our dog loved the beaches & everywhere is so dog friendly, we will definitely be returning.

Genuinely dog friendly
Genuinely dog-friendly holiday accommodation is hard to find, Grosvenor cottage is definitely dog friendly, and more. It's a really lovely home from home, in a perfect spot in a lovely town. The house itself is beautifully styled, with a fully dog secure garden and mere minutes from the beach. The town of Hornsea is a delight with great shops and very clean. There's loads to do locally and more just short drives away. Highly recommend this place for a relaxing break with dog(s).

Away from it all!
We spent a long weekend in this fabulous place with our dog and found the whole experience a pleasure. Beautiful cottage with everything we needed and the added extras such as wine, dog treats and welcome message made it even more special. The cottage is in a perfect location and we all enjoyed the beach walking and exploring. Highly recommended for an escape away from it all x

Lovely dog-friendly cottage in a perfect location a couple of minutes from the beach.
We had a wonderful week staying in Grosvenor Cottage for a second time with our 2 border collies. It is a perfect location, totally dog-friendly, and a couple of minutes from the sea and parks. The cottage is quiet and one of the few places we have found that our noise-sensitive rescue dog can relax.
Hornsea is a lovely old fashioned place with good facilities and easy access to Bridlington and Beverley and many other places for walks and exploration.

Perfect location
Spent 4 nights here with our three dogs and found it perfect in just about every way. The cottage is cosy, clean and homely. The stairs are very steep so I wouldn't recommend if your mobility isn't very good.There was a welcome pack of chocolates wine, disposable bbq and dog treats. Everything you need is there.
The location is perfect. 3 mins walk into town, 2 minutes to the beach and the same to the trans pennine trail. Hall Garth park is at the top of the street. Absolutely perfect for dogs to explore, kids to play and a picnic. The Mere is also within easy walking distance.
We loved Hornsea, its very clean and the people very friendly. We would love to return and explore more

Very dog friendly in the cottage plus on the beach and most of the cafe shop and bars
We had a lovely stay in Grovesnor Cottage with our two small dogs who throughly enjoyed their walks along the beach.
Cottage has everything plus more for your stay, everything easy to use but full instructions are available

Hornsea Freeport is popular for shopping, whilst Bempton Cliffs RSPB reserve can be reached in just over half an hour's drive, offering one of the largest mainland puffin populations in Britain. Hornsea is near to Wassand Hall and walled gardens and provides a good base for touring the Yorkshire Wolds, the North York Moors and the East Riding coastal resorts. The historic City of York and The Deep at Hull are within an easy drive.
