Romantic Villa apartment with balcony overlooking the park, not to be missed!
Located in Impruneta, a charming town on the edge of Chianti, Apartment Beatrice is a large studio apartment of 35 sq.m. consisting of:
• Room / living room with double bed, dining table with four chairs, kitchenette and washing machine
• Bathroom with shower
• Romantic balcony overlooking the park of the Villa.
Old terracotta floors and high hand decorated ceilings.
All furniture and paintings on the walls are antique and belong to our family collection.
Walls are thicker than 50 cm, as it was use in this kind of old building to ensure cool even in the hottest summers.
Apartment Beatrice is located on the second floor of our family property, Villa Saladini, a 16th century Manor Villa surrounded by olive ...

Where you feel like family and are treated like Royalty!
Perla, the owner, is amazing! Her children played with our daughter. She fixed us dinner, picked us up from the airport, and made sure all our questions were answered. The house is beautiful and tranquil. The apartment was well equipped and spacious. It was clean and had beautiful views. We felt like we were in Downton Abbey! The villa has been in the same family since it was built and therefore has much more character than you can imagine. In fact, Perla was gracious enough to let us have a tour of the rest of the Villa and even visit the family chapel. You can get to the city center by bus but really Impruneta has plenty of things to see, do, and eat!!! We absolutely loved our stay and highly recommend this place!

Lovely stay at a historic family home
This place was located in Impruneta which is a short drive or bus ride into Florence. It has the charm of the country in a home with a great family history. We had originally booked another room but this apartment was open so we were upgraded to this one, which has an amazing balcony and a spacious room with everything you need. My husband and I stayed here in May of 2014. We had a very accommodating hostess Perla who provided great hospitality. She also offered dinner for a very reasonable price which was absolutely wonderful! I highly recommend to get dinner at least one night! One thing I would recommend, even in May, is to dress warm, it gets chilly in the evenings and night. Overall a great 3 night stay, I would definitely recommend this vacation rental!

Très belle maison et beau jardin à 20' de la Piazzale Michelangelo Parking gratuit au dessus de l'Arno qui met le centre historique de Florence à 15' de marche.
Propriétaires très sympas, Perla parle un anglais facile et agréable.
A recommander+++.......!!!

Un cadre idyllique au coeur de la Toscane
Un appartement magnifique, typiquement toscan, une terrasse romantique avec vue sur un parc boisé, les charmes de la campagne alentours...à seulement 20min du centre de Florence ! Un grand merci à Perla et Marco pour leur accueil si chaleureux, leur disponibilité et leur patience (je commençais tout juste à apprendre l'italien à mon arrivée).
Si vous désirez visiter la Toscane ou Florence, la Villa Saladini est l'endroit idéal où déposer vos valises ! (village très charmant, proche de tous les centres culturels, campagne magnifique...)
Nous gardons un souvenir très ému de cet voyage et une partie de notre coeur restera toujours à Impruneta...

Me and my husband stayed at the Villa Saladini for 5 great autumn days and were really happy to have found such great accomodation! The Villa and the apartment are amazing and at the same time offer a dash of antique and all the modern "necessities" (microwave, dishwasher, etc). Our hosts Perla and Marco were extremely nice and welcomed us with a pack of domestic products and a load of useful sightseeing info such as maps, overeview of "must see" sights, price off vouchers for the neighboring Impruneta restaurants, etc.
We have planned to visit Florence, but as well Chianti and the southern part of Tuscany. It was very nice to be able to reach Florence by bus in only 20 minutes, but the rest of Tuscany is as well easy to reach from the Villa by local roads (strada 222 is highly recommended!).
Too bad were were too busy sightseeing that we haven't had more time to spend in the house and beautiful garden surrounding it!
We are definitely planning to return :-)

Comfort and Italy Spirit
Villa Saladini is a beautiful, quite place with big beautiful park. It is situated 12 km away from center of Florence and one km from center of Impruneta. Hosts are very helpful and kind. They also have some extra meals in their offer, which we strongly recommend. Apartment met all our expectations.

About the neighborhood
In the nice center of Impruneta, less than 1 km from the Villa, there are many very good restaurants and there also is a very famous one a few meters from our entrance gate.
In town there are: a big supermarket, groceries shops, many cafes, 2 banks with ATM and any other kind of shops.
As regards the area, Impruneta is located at the edge of the Chianti area, where the famous Chianti wine is produces.
With its beautiful landscapes, little medieval towns, olive groves and vineyards, the area is one of the most attractive locations in Italy… and obviously wine tastings are available all around.
If you are interested in castles, Chianti is full of them and they are described in the itineraries of the Chianti Castles route.
Getting around
If you come by car, Villa Saladini is ideally located as a base to explore Tuscany .
We are just 6 km from the exit “Firenze-Impruneta" of the A1 highway and from the beginning of the road which connects Florence to Siena. From here you can easily reach all places of cultural interest and the most beautiful towns in Tuscany, such as:
• Siena : 60 km (1 hour)
• Pisa 100 km (1 hour and 30 minutes)
• Lucca : 90 km (1 hour)
• Pistoia : 50 km (45 minutes)
• Arezzo : 80 km (1 hour)
and also San Casciano Val di Pesa (12 km) , Greve in Chianti ( 15 km) , Certaldo (36 km ), Colle Val d' Elsa (40 km ), San Gimignano (45 km), and the renowned spa town of Montecatini Terme ( 60 km)

How to get there
Impruneta is a medieval town located in the Chianti area,13km south of the city of Florence reachable in 20 minutes by car with a scenic drive.
Florence train station SMN is at 16km and Florence Airport is at 21km (1km= 0,62 miles).
The Villa is located less than 1 km from the town's main square and from shops and amenities.
Car is not necessary if you wish to visit Florence. There is a very convenient and direct bus route from Impruneta to the center of Florence.
Main bus stop is in town (900 meters from our gate - a little more than half a mile - 10/12 minutes walk) and there also is a secondary bus stop in front of our entrance gate.
The bus ride from the terminus in Impruneta to the terminus in Florence (train station SMN) is 40 minutes long. If you want to visit the city center you can also choose to drop off at the ancient southern gate to enter Florence center. It is much closer to Pitti Palace, Boboli Gardens and Ponte Vecchio and total time on the bus to reach it is 30 minutes.
Not all buses stop at our entrance gate, some of them end the ride at the main bus stop in Impruneta, 900 meters from our gate.
If you prefer not to walk, you can ask us to give you a ride into town by car (we will do it with pleasure anytime) or you can check on the timetable and choose to take one of the buses that arrive at the gate. You will have less choice, but there still is an ample variety of possibilities.
Only on Sundays it is necessary to walk to reach the bus stop because buses do not arrive at our gate on Sundays and public holidays.
We are always available to give you a ride to the bus stop in town if needed, or to come and pick you up there on the way back. We just need to know you need the service. A text message will be perfect.
From Monday to Saturday buses run on average every 30-40 minutes and the last ride in the evening arrives in Impruneta around 8.50 pm. On Sundays and public holidays there are very few rides, but still 2 in the morning to leave and 3 in the afternoon to come back at reasonable hours.
Buses are perfect for visiting Florence during the day and return at dinner time and we will be happy to provide all the necessary information and timetables.
We tried to give as many info as possible about buses because it might an important method of transport for you, but we might have forgotten something.
