on the positive side the chalet is very comfortable, well equipped (although the oven did take a bitof getting used to!)and has stunning views over Chatel. It is about a 15-20 minute nwalk to the village in snow boots. The village is a lovely traditional ski resort with plenty of restaurants and shops to suit all tastes. It also has a well stocked Sherpa and Casino supermarkets.
On the negative side, although the snow bus stop is right out side the chalet buses are very infrequent and finish at 5.10pm which is too early as some ski lessons don't finish until 5.15 pm. It is too far to walk in ski boots with skis so ended up driving every morning to Pre la Joux
Overall we had a fantastic week , the skiing was great and it was a lovely chalet to relax in during the evening.
