This chalet is perfectly located near Châtel and Chapelle d’Abondance. The chalet is well equipped and spacious! Great restaurants and hiking trails are accessible by car. We had an amazing week in this huge chalet. The place is immaculate, has a big TV room downstairs and a great central lounge and large dining area upstairs. The chalet is modern and the finish is great. It has a big storage room for skis & boards, and plenty of room both below the chalet and opposite for parking...

Châtel is in the heart of the Franco-Swiss ski domain called the Portes du Soleil. The domain, one of the largest in Europe, covers 14 resorts:
8 French, including Châtel, Avoriaz, Morzine, Montriond, les Gets , St Jean d’Aulps, Abondance and la Chapelle; and 6 Swiss: Champéry, Torgon, Morgins and les Crosets Val d’Illiez, Champoussin.

There are several options available, with regular flights from most UK and European cities to Geneva. British Airways, Easyjet and Flybe are the most popular carriers. Car rental is readily available from either the French side or the Swiss side of the airport (Yes the airport really does straddle the border !) It is best to pre-book from the UK.
