No tan buena experiencia
El lugar es hermoso y limpio. Con hermosas vistas. Para llegar hay una empinada cuesta, que no todos estan dispuetos a subir a pie, si no quieren usar el carro a la playa. No voy a calificar de excelente mi estadia porque cuando iba de camino a mis vacaciones de una semana, recibi una llamada de la administradora informandome que la pisicina no funcionaba, tenian una emergencia. Y que si queria podia devolverme el dinero. Cosa que me parecio inaceptable, ya que habia preparado mis vacaciones, y era temporada alta en Costa Rica. Esperaban que me devolviera a mi casa acaso?.El camino es largo desde el Valle Central. Decidimos esperar a llegar y conversar. Decidimos quedarnos, mientras buscabamos otra opcion. Como era temporada alta no habia nada mas, y los dos dias arreglaron la piscina entonces decidimos quedarnos, pero no quedo del todo bien (tenia mucho cloro y llegaron varias veces a revisarla). La administradora me llevo a ver algunos lugares que no me agradaron (no quedaba mucho en Santa Teresa). Sin embargo era un paseo para relajarme con mi familia, no para perder tiempo buscando otro lugar, y estresada porque mis padres no estaban del todo comodos sin piscina. A pesar de que hicieron un descuento por los inconvenientes, arruinaron mis vacaciones!.
!No se si el trato hubiera sido diferente si hubiera sido extranjera!. Un buen servicio al cliente, nos hubiera rehubicado es una casa similar, con piscina.

Le agradecemos muchisimo por haberse tomado su tiempo para hacer su comentario.
Su opinión sobre su estadía es muy importante para nosotros y nos entristece saber que su experiencia no fue excelente. Nuestro deseo es que cada cliente disfrute de la casa y de sus vacaciones y que se vayan muy contentos y con muy buenos recuerdos y parece que en su caso no lo hamos logrado.
Nos disculpamos sinceramente por el problema que tuvimos con nuestra piscina, lamentablemente en nuestra area muchas cosas tienden a romperse debido al extremo clima y nos movemos lo mas rápido posible para reparar lo necesario y entendemos que esto afectó mucho su posibilidad de disfrutar de la piscina de la casa por el tiempo que llevó normalizarla.
También queremos disculparnos por no haber manejado la situacion de una manera satisfactoria para ustedes, en ese momento pensamos que lo habíamos hecho, Lo sentimos mucho.
Esperamos que a pesar de todo hayan podido disfrutar de algunos dias de sus vacaciones y que nos den otra oportunidad de hacer las cosas mejor la próxima vez.

Paradise
This house was amazing. We were two couples and had the greatest time. The pool was breathtaking, nice and warm, and the entire outdoor living space was where we spent our days lounging around. Lots of areas to lounge, sit, eat and read outside. We saw monkeys too by the pool area! The two upstairs bedrooms both had ensuite bathrooms and air conditioning and looked out to the ocean. The kitchen was perfect too. The house sits up on a cliff with a beautiful vista that we could not get enough of. Josie, the concierge, was very helpful too arranging tours and restaurant reservations. We had the greatest time here!

Very beautiful house and a very uplifting surrounding.
When we booked and looked at the pictures we had no idea we would be so lucky. The house is amazingly pretty and located on a hill which over looks ocean . We were six adults and a baby and we all enjoyed the swimming pool and patio. Bed rooms are spacious and beds are very comfortable . Bathrooms are clean and good sized. . The restaurants near by are very good and very affordable. The kitchen is well equipped and organized except for trash bags. We could not find them any where. The drive to the house is little steep but that seems to be a norm in Santa Teresa. Casa Mango is truly a charming place on a little hill that over looks the ocean . Our most cherished memory is watching stars at night and watching sun sets and sun rise with birds chirping joyfully. Josie is a very friendly, helpful and sweet person. She was always a phone call away and solved all our problems with a smile. We are glade we found Casa Mango and decided to go to Santa Teresa.

Awesome place in a great location with amazing views.
We had an amazing time in Santa Teresa. The place was absolutely gorgeous. The concierge Pia was extremely accommodating, very helpful with recommendations, and made our trip very convenient and stress free. The views from the house can not be described in words. It is located within walking distance to the beach/surf spots and an amazing local restaurant. I would highly recommend booking this villa or any place that Pia represents. One of our best vacations ever.

Wish we could have stayed longer
I went to Casa Mango with a group of friendship me it was the perfect house for our visit - the rooms and layout were great, the view was breathtaking (perfect spot for watching the sunset, or monkeys!) and the location was perfect. We planned to cook, but there were so many great restaurants within walking distance that we didn't get a chance to test out the grill.
In addition to the house being wonderful, Pia was a great hostess - giving us tips and recommends about the area and making checking/check out super easy. If we make it back to santa Teresa, I know where we will be staying!

Our third stay at Casa Mango, and we'll be back!
This was our third trip to Casa Mango and it was just as good, if not better, the third time. I cannot say enough good things about the house, the location, the beach, the monkeys that hang out at Casa Mango (every day the week we were there!!) and the wonderful restaurants. Don't hesitate -- just go! It's awesome!!!

Good all-around vacation house
Great views. Howler monkeys. Great accommodations for a family. Property manager was attentive and helpful. Close enough to walk to the beach yet far enough away from the dusty main road. It's all good

We Loved Casa Mango
The 5 of us completely enjoyed our 10 days at Casa Mango. The owner is attentive and very responsive to questions/emails. Her property manager was quite helpful as well. The house is just perfect as a base to explore the area or to just kick back in. We had fair amount of rain the first couple days and appreciated having such a nice place to hang out. It is up the hill a bit so you dont have the traffic noise and dust like some places. Mangos are not in season now, but we saw lots of monkeys, iguanas, tree squirrels and even toucans. There is a well stocked store (La Hacienda) just down the street, with restaurants close by as well. But we saved a lot by cooking most of our meals at the house. There is a nice fish shop (Product C) at the 4 corners area that carries lots of different fresh local fish, and if you have transportation you can really get a good deal by going to the fisherman's dock in Mal Pais. And the blender got used a lot too. Also, I used the Wi-Fi internet access daily, with the USB port dongle that the owner supplies. We would love to go back and stay longer.

Beautiful spot!
We had an absolutely wonderful time! The house was beautiful! Billy was very professional and helpful. I can't say enough good things. I will definitely recommend it to others and will email you next time we're heading back to Santa Teresa. Thanks so much for everything!

Wedding in Paradise
I came to Costa Rica with family and friends to celebrate the wedding of my son. They were married just across the road from Casa Mango which made our stay incredibly effortless. Down the driveway and across the street and there we were on the beach in another gorgeous home where the wedding was held. Our Costa home was clean and modern in the midst of the dust and jungle and we felt happy to be in such luxury for our wedding adventure. We had lots of rooms for different family configurations and decks to sit on to watch the ocean over the top of the jungle canopy. The owner, Claire, was so friendly and willing to share all she knew, which was considerable, about the details of how to make the journey there from the us. And our caretakers were equally gracious in answering all our newbie questions and calling cabs for us. We were treated on the last day to an amazing howler monkey show as a couple dozen of them made their way through the treetops around the house. The driveway is quite steep which gave us some good exercise and the fridge a bit loud but clean and new and kept our food cold! I would highly recommend the experience!!
