Seagrapes Cabana is Gold Standard Certified by the Belize Tourism Board and complies with COVID-19 safe environment requirements of Belize. Guest Access Guests have complete privacy in the cabana which is self contained and away from our main building. As well as the verandah, there is also a lawn space immediately outside that guests are welcome to use. Guests also have full use of our beach. including hammocks, and barbecue fixture. Interaction with Guests When you arrive, we will meet with you and introduce you to the Cabana and our property. We'll let you have some prepared information as well as update you on any 'breaking news' that may be relevant to your stay. We have our house on site so normally we are easy to get hold of for information or assistance where necessary. The Neighborhood We are located at Sittee Point, which is 3 miles South of Hopkins Village. We are positioned roughly in the middle of the sandy bay that houses an an area in Sittee Point known as Phase 2, and us known as Phase 4. You are free to walk the full length of the beach in any direction and enjoy the beautiful Caribbean Sea. At the back of our property there are mangroves from where we can directly access the canal that leads to the sea in one direction, and Sittee River and the Marina, The Curve Bar & Restaurant in the other direction. We are about a mile and a half from the resort area of Hopkins with it's bars and restaurants and gym, and about 3 miles from Hopkins Village with shopping and an ATM. You can start your fishing trip from the Marina or you can meet your dive boat there if that's what you have arranged, otherwise you can start your diving from the resorts on the beach side. There are dive operators and Stand Up Paddling in the resort. Getting Around There is private parking on the property for our guests. There is no public transport in the immediate area so if you want to be able to just get up and go whenever you want, you should consider car rental. During daylight, we often ride bicycles to the village rather than take our car. If you want to explore the locality by bicycle, we have bicycles on site that you can use for $10 Belize per day. However, cycling in the night time is not recommended as the local roads are unpaved and street lighting is mostly nonexistent. Other Things to Note There is no public transport in the immediate area so if you want to be able to just get up and go whenever you want, you should consider car rental. If you want a more quiet stay, then you can book any tours you need and be picked up or walk to the Marina to join one of their tours etc. If you do rent a car, you should note that Belize is a developing country and once you leave the main highways the roads can be severely potholed at some times Of the year. It's never stopped us driving, but we just have to remember that some roads can really slow journey times down if they are in bad repair. Tourist License / Licencia de turismo N °: HOT01935

Awesome
We would like to express our gratitude to our hosts at the Seagrapes Cabana. Roi and Antonella are terrific. The accommodation is very clean and well laid out. Antonella has a green thumb as the properties plants and gardens are beautiful. They have been so welcoming. We are located in Hopkins which has everything you need. Hopkins is also central if you are planning a day trip. We have seen the pyramids, spent a day on the ocean, gone horseback riding, and enjoyed the restaurants and shopping. Two thumbs up from Canada.

A little taste of paradise
This cabana is great. Like Roi says it looks like a Tardis (slightly bigger than a Police Box from the outside), however even The Doctor would be impressed with the functionality of the space on the inside. It has all the necessities (coffee maker and wifi!) and much more. There's access to the beach and a lovely veranda to while away the hours drinking the local rum. You can hire bicycles to explore the area and there are many many bars and restaurants to visit. Chef Rob's was recommended and is well worth a visit. And horse riding in the rainforest is another must. Visiting the reef on a calm day or even one of the Maya ruins nearby. Seagrapes is so central to so much adventure you won't want to leave.

Wonderful
We stayed at Seagrapes in mid February for 12 days. It is a wonderful cabana. It is very clean and it is tastefully decorated. It has all you need in a vacation place: a good bed, good quality bedding and towels, great shower, and a fully equipped kitchen. Even the towels and bedding are color coordinated. That is not important for your vacation, but it is a sign that the owners are paying attention to details. The rooms are big and not cluttered. We enjoyed our time inside the cabana because there was enough room for both of us to read or even work a few hours a day. The internet connection is very good. Moreover, the location is perfect. You can walk to the Marina, and you are a short bike ride to Hopkins (we even walked there and back one day). Since it is near Hopkins, the tour company we used for some trips just came to pick us up to the cabana. The beach is right outside the door. It is a beautiful and quiet beach. The hosts (Roi and Antonella) are kind and helpful. They will be available if you need them, but also respect your space and privacy if you don't. They are very organized. In the cabana they left information about Belize and tours and activities around Hopkins. This is a very relaxing place. And if the beach and Belize are not relaxing enough for you, you can take a yoga class just across the street, as Antonella has a yoga studio with several classes a week. We took one class, and loved it. Seagrapes Cabana is truly a nice place. We recommend it very highly.

Nice location on the beach, friendly hosts
My husband and I stayed at Seagrapes Cabana for few days while travelling in Belize. The location was perfect, you are practically on the beach which is private to the cabana. The cabana is comfortable and you can admire the attention to details and cleanness. It is also close to the harbor, which was ideal for us as we wanted to have a sail trip. Also, they have given us bikes to tour in the close by village, where you can easily find tours or place to eat. We found it ideal for what we were looking.

Even better than the photos on the site!
Our stay at SeaGrapes Cabana was wonderful - I could not have asked for a better start to our holiday! Roi greeted us with a huge smile and imediately made us feel welcome. The cabana is idyllic and cozy; right on the beach, immaculately clean with everything you need and a really comfortable bed. It's an excellent spot from which to explore the southern parts of Belize. Also, they have a yoga studio on site where we were thoroughly enjoyed a private session. Overall a beautifully kept and very welcoming place. Plus Roi and Antonella were wonderful hosts, full of useful information and advice. I most definitely plan on staying with them again!
