Parsonage Barn was the perfect place to stay for a relaxing weekend away in East Sussex. Heather and Alan were both very welcoming and helpful- we will definitely be recommending this lovely annexe to friends, and would return again in the future :-)

I booked this for my daughter and myself as a getaway from it all few days. My daughter ending up staying with her friend and they had the best 2 days enjoying the beautiful surroundings. Heather is very helpful and the Annexe is simply beautiful. I do plan on returning myself and taking in the beautiful views and countryside. Thanks...

Thank you to Heather, this was our second stay at the annexe and you can be sure we'll be back again. We may bring the dogs...

About the neighborhood
Icklesham village is located approximately six miles east of Hastings on the A259, Hastings to Rye Road. The village has several public houses. The church is dedicated to All Saints and St Nicolas and dates back to the 12th century.

Icklesham stands on the ridge between the coast and river Brede, offering views to the hills at Fairlight to the south and the Brede valley on the other side. The village was probably a prime target during the invasion by the Normans in 1066 as in earlier times it dominated the river Brede. This strategic importance led, some seven hundred years later to evacuation p...
