Our House is situated in the village of Dunchaoin on the Dingle penninsula with views of the Blasket Island group to the front and Mount Eagle views to the rear. Our house has an open plan layout with double sided stove facing both lounge and kitchen. There are three bedrooms downstairs. Upstairs there is a large mezzanine lounge area and a seperate large bedroom. We are five minutes drive from the stunning Coumeenole Beach featured in the film Ryan's Daughter. We are ten minutes drive from safe sandy beaches such as Ventry (blue flag) and Wine strand, Ballydavid with TP's pub/restaurant and seaweed spa are a ten minute drive. We are two minutes walk from Krugers country pub the most westerly pub in Ireland. Margaret has a beautiful and comfortable home. We really enjoyed staying there. The kitchen is great for cooking with plenty of space and amenities. The location is very quiet with nice walks right out the door. There is nothing bad to say about her home....More

About the neighborhood
Dunquin is located on the wild atantic way within walking distance of the Blasket Island heritage centre where the visitor can be steeped in the history of the Island and its past inhabitants. We are located on the Dingle way walking trail with marked hikes along the coast of slea head. Boat trips to the Islands leave from Dunquin pier two mins drive away. Krugers pub is a few minutes walk for a creamy pint of guiness. The vibrant town of Dingle with its many shops and restaurants. is 13 km away . It also has many quaint pubs with traditional irish music. There are child attractions such as fabulous indoor climbing centre, Dingle Aquarium with shark tank and penquins etc. sailing courses and dolphin trips

From Dingle follow the R559 to Ventry (Ceann Tra). Go Through the village and continue straight ahead until you reach the crossroads at the church. Go right at the church over the hill and on descent you will meet the main road and Dunquin village. Go right at the main road and shortly afterwards go left past Krugers pub . Directly after the pub you will see three bungalows on your left . Lui na Greine is the middle house.
