Beautiful four persons chalet, built in Savoyard style. Chez Robert is a nice, comfortable and luxurious chalet. The chalet is located in a small chalet park 150 meters from the village of Vallandry and the ski lift / slope. It has a sunny location and a perfect view across the Tarentaise valley, Mont Blanc and the glacier Bellecôte.
You enter the chalet on the top floor through the hall with toilet and wardrobe. Then you enter the living room with open kitchen. The living room has a fireplace and patio doors to balcony with lovely views. There is a television with satellite receiver. The kitchen is equipped with oven / microwave, fridge freezer, dishwasher and induction cooker.The ground floor has a large bathroom with bath and shower, sink, toilet and a washer / dryer combination. Furthermore, there are two spacious bedrooms with four single beds and wardrobes. The beds can be combined as double bed. One of the bedrooms has a bathroom with sink and shower. All rooms have underfloor heating and radiators. The chalet is provided with free WiFi.
The chalet has a spacious terrace and balcony to enjoy the sunshine. On the side of the chalet there is a ski locker to store your skis.
Chez Robert was perfect for two couples. Two bathrooms and two bedrooms both equally good. A larger upstairs living space with the most beautiful view across towards Mont Blanc. And a lovely balcony for end of day drinks. Gorgeous sunsets every day. The chalet is warm, clean, well equipped and extremely comfortable.
It’s a short walk to the lift and I am sure most people find it easy in their ski boots. However our top tip is to park the car in the carpark at the centre right by the steps up to the lift and to use that as a ski locker for the week.
Peisey Vallandry is a quiet resort with good local shops. The skiing all around Les Arcs is fabulous with pretty views everywhere you look and a great variety and breadth of runs.
We hope to stay in Chez Robert again! Thank you for a great holiday.

Fantastisch huis in heerlijke omgeving
Dit fraaie chalet ligt vlak bij de skilift en ziet er prachtig en gezellig uit.
Het huis is voorzien van alle gemakken en we hebben hier een heerlijke luxe week gehad. Je kunt zien dat de eigenaren het huis met veel liefde en aandacht hebben gerestaureerd en ingericht.
De open haard was ook super na het skien en deed het erg goed. Verder was alles wag je wenst ruimschoots aanwezig, ook fijn dat er meer dan genoeg serviesgoed, bestek en glazen zijn.
Dit is zeker een aanrader in een mooi skigebied.

Excellent in every respect
We are having a great time in chalet Chez Robert. Good position in a very pleasant Alpine village. Great views from the lounge across the valley. West facing balcony from which you can watch the parapenters descending. East facing outside seating area for a sunny breakfast. Very well appointed - comfortable beds, plenty of hot water, good oven/microwave, excellent induction hob, pretty fast WiFi considering the altitude. TV is all Dutch channels but there is a DVD player if people want to bring films to watch. Vallandry village has good shops and restaurants. If you have transport then it's a 15 minute drive down the mountain to Bourg Saint Maurice where you have big supermarkets etc. This area is perfect in Summer for road cycling (Cormet de Roselend, Col de l'Iseran, Col du Petit Saint Bernard, La Plagne), mountain biking and walking. Highly recommended!

A perfect first skiing holiday
This was our first skiing holiday abroad together as a family and Chez Robert was everything that we needed at the end of an exhausting day of skiing. The accommodation was in a great location and had everything that we needed including a lovely log fire, open plan living room/kitchen dining room and good bedroom accommodation. Hoping to book again for next year.

Smashing place
What a truely smashing place Chez Robert is/was. We were able to park the car at the top of a short flight of steps leading directly to the chalet. Nice patio area outside the door (we had some lovely hot days even though it was Feb) Views were great from the large lounge windows which lead out to the balcony. The bedrooms were downstairs. Kitchen was large enough and well equiped. Only down side with the kitchen was all instructions were Dutch (Ductch owned chalet!) Not to far to walk along the road to the lift area.... last 50m up a steepish slope though! We enjoyed our stay at Chez Robert and would reccommend it for a family or small group like us

About the neighborhood
Vallandry is located at the heart of the Savoie at a height of 1600 meters and at the edge of the National Park La Vanoise, a beautiful 61000 ha national reserve and the first national park of France.
It also lies in the heart of one of the biggest connected skiing areas of Europe, Paradiski, with a total of 425 km of skiing slopes.
Vallandry is a cosy mountain village with shops, restaurants, bars and a movie theatre, where, because of the small-scale and traditional construction, there is still a village atmosphere present.
Winter:
Vallandry belongs to the top three of the world’s biggest skiing areas. Since 2003 the cabin lift, La Vanoise, has connected the skiing areas La Plagne and Les Arcs, which it bridges in only 4 minutes. Because of this connection a great skiing area has been created, carrying the name Paradiski. And a paradise it is! With a total 425 km of slopes and containing two glaciers, the Aiguille Rouge and the Bellecote. The area is located at heights between 1250 and 3250 meters. With two peaks above 3000 meters and 80% of the 240 descents above 2000 meters, snow is practically a guarantee. But during the winter there is so much more to do than just downhill skiing, like cross-country skiing or a sleigh ride.
Summer:
Vallandry is not just a great place to stay during the winter, it also has a lot to offer during the summer. Most of the time there is warm weather during the day, while it cools down at night. It is a great place to find your peace, but with all the activities and sports you can do in the mountains it can also be an active stay. Such as mountain biking, swimming, rafting, hiking, climbing.
