Welcome to Pura Vida. Where the pure life, solitude and tranquility will slow you down to the rhythms of the island.
Enjoy a lazy day rocking away on one of five patios to catch the ocean breeze or strolling through the grounds to pick okra, ackee, avocado and oranges to tickle your taste buds.
A hike up to Zion for a panoramic view will certainly inspire the butterflies to show you the way. And the evening concert of wildlife will entice you and a blanket out on the lawn to view the star spectacular in the sky and play hide-and-seek with the fireflies. We truly look forward to showing you our love and passion for our home, Jamaica.
Your stay at the villa will send you home with a genuine feel of the culture and old fashion community.

For starters, our room was nothing like those shown on Booking.com or Pura Vida’s own website. No sign of the wood floors, elegant furniture or views of the turquoise Caribbean. Our room was much more functional but totally adequate with a good sized bathroom, decent air con and best of all a well equipped full kitchen. After a week eating jerk chicken it was great to be able to cook our own meal.
But as others have said, what makes the place is the host Richard - a genuinely friendly and charming guy. He was interesting to talk to, full of good advice on food, driving etc and even took us down to Luminous Lagoon, waited while we did the boat trip, and took us back to Pura Vida.

Perfect
We stayed here for two nights. Richard (the manager) was so kind and helpful with organising and recommending activities. The room was beautiful and the bathroom too. We can't fault it. Definitely recommend.

Amazing place i spent there 5 months
It was the top moment in my holiday, Rich the housekeeper is a really amazing person, you can have fun talk about everything and he s extremely gentle and available! This place is a bit on the hills so is quiet you have got a big garden enjoing your moments! Rich brought us to the neibourhood where we met his friends enjoying together eheheh ! Really check it out!
