Entire MARINE SURF WAIKIKI is a %100 smoke free property & all condos are non smoking units! There are no exceptions to this rule. Please do not reserve a condo if you can't respect this. Some of our guests are allergic to smoke and we need to do everything in our control to respect their comfort level. Smoking on lanais ( balcony ) is also NOT allowed. $250 cleaning fee will be added to your bill if smoke is detected in the condo upon your departure.
We stayed there for more than two weeks (2 adults and 2 kids). When we arrived, we need to make a quite few phone calls to contact the right person to help on our luggage but it was Christmas day. Once we contacted, they helped us to leave the luggage and came back when the room was ready. The room was clean and tidy, in decent size and the building itself is a bit outdated but all furniture and equipment are functional and in good condition. So no complain. It was nice to have a beach chair, umbrella and towels available. Parking in Waikiki is a big plus.
Location is perfect if staying in Waikiki. The instructions to check out were clear.
Only annoying thing was we had fire alarms twice while we were in the apartment. We have to go out via stairs from 17th floor. It seems like a false alarm which was related to a restaurant in first floor.
In overall, it was good stay.

Marine Surf Waikiki
Check-in is totally self directed by instructions that are emailed. Security fob to operate the elevator and door keypad code. The studio apartment is nice for the price. It is clean and has what you need
It is small and the bed is against the window which makes getting into bed difficult . There is a reserved parking spot in the basement level and the parking is free. It is a 10 minute walk to the beach and t h ey do supply beach chairs and umbrella and other items. The room is four-star room but the price is right and free parking is great.

Perfect location
Rented this studio apartment for two nights for my husband and myself before leaving on a cruise around the islands. The studio was updated, roomy and just right for our stay. We were impressed with the view of the ocean and that the owners left us so many amenities. (i.e. coffee pods, washing machine pods). The ability (which we took advantage of) to wash some clothes with the washer and dryer just outside our door was handy and welcomed. The check in was easy. The location is fantastic with everything in walking distance. Would highly recommend this option to anyone coming to Oahu.

nice, quiet place to stay in Waikiki
We enjoyed our stay at this condo, which is spacious for an efficiency. The staff, Niko and especially Marta, were very professional & attentive to make sure our check-in went smoothly and our stay was comfortable.
Location is near tons of restaurants especially Asian cuisines, although there is a walk up pizza joint and a McDonalds nearby. Heavenly next door was great for organic, healthy breakfast. Short, easy walk to Waikiki Beach.
The bed is a full size rather than a queen but was adequate for my husband & I. The room was quiet -we did not hear any street noise (maybe and thankfully due to the white noise of the a/c which did rattle a little). The fully appointed kitchen, including a full size fridge & coffee maker allowed us to have breakfast before we headed out if we didn't want to eat out.
There is a reserved parking spot -your vehicle must be less than 6 feet tall because the garage is tight ,which is normal for Waikiki.
No parking fee, no resort fees! All in all, this is a good value - a clean place to sleep and eat while in Waikiki. It is a not a luxury condo with ocean views but you cannot expect that at this price point.

Ideal spot for a weeks Vacation
Great location and had everything we needed. The team was great with accommodating our last minute and late check-in. The space was perfect for the week stay for cooking and sleeping in. Clean and tidy and had everything we needed. I would definitely stay here again upon our return to Waikiki.
The beach items were a huge plus, as well as reusable food storage containers in the kitchen!

Fantastic vacatio
We stayed 12 days at Tropical Studios. The apartment was great & had everything we needed. It was clean & just like the ad. The apartment was close to everything beach, shopping,restaurants. We loved every minute we were there.

Great studio apartment in the centre of Waikiki
This studio apartment was ideal for our stay in Waikiki. It is centrally located with a secure car spot in the centre of Waikiki. The apartment was clean, had a large fridge and a stove. There is also some beach chairs, umbrella, bucket and spade for the kids to use and beach towels. The complex has a swimming pool. The apartment is secure after hours and the car parking spot needs a fob key to enter it. Communication with the owner was awesome. When I booked over a year in advance, Niko connected me to confirm. I am recommending all my friend's to stay at Niko's apartment when they come to Waikiki.

Great holiday
Condo was great. Close to everything.area is noisy but not a problem.condo has easy access.it has everything you need. Pool was great.we will be back.

Exceptional location and value, and an owner who cares deeply about guest's comfort.
Had it not been for a couple days of parking issues,we would have given this location a five out of five rating instead of a four out of five. Niko (the owner) did take care of the parking issues we had immediately, but when your tired and just coming in off of a long flight that was one problem we wish wouldn't have happened. The condo itself was perfect for our needs, just the right size with the right amenities including a nice size swimming pool you could actually swim laps in, and was never crowded.. We were also within short walking distance of the beaches to Waikiki. Thanks for a memorable and enjoyable stay!

Perfect Condo Accommodation
Firstly the owner met us at the condo on arrival. Really great. Condo really excellent for our stay. Had all the amenities we required and was in excellent condition. Walking distance to Waikiki beach. Shops and restaurants all around the condo. Nice views of the city from our 12th floor. Highly recommended. Would stay there again on our next visit to Honolulu.

Hawaii’s world-famous resort mecca Waikiki knows it’s a locus of great places to eat no matter what your budget is!
Getting around
Waikiki is very compact and very walk able, street rental bike share are great way to explore immediate surrounding and most of Honolulu.
Rental car will be the best way to explore the island treasures outside Honolulu and there is many!
