The Tree Top cabin was everything we wanted it to be and more. The views from the front porch were so beautiful, we didn't even end up leaving the house once. The house was so spacious and bright, and was perfect for our group of 6. We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub, fire pit, grill, and access to the river. We are already planning on returning sometime in the future.

We regularly rent higher-end cabins in the Shenandoah area, so it was a pleasant surprise that we found this cabin to be the best we have ever visited! The communication from the property management team was on point, the cabin itself is wonderful, the Jacuzzi is well maintained, and the views are stunning! It was going to snow during our stay, so we extended by a day, and the owner was very accommodating. The only drawbacks to our visit were finding an energy drink can on the porch that had a bunch of used cigarettes in it (must have been missed by the crew - otherwise, the cleaning was very good!), we realized that the Jacuzzi area cannot be accessed from inside the house easily (you need to go out the front door and down a gravel path which was a brisk run in the winter!), the kitchen air vent made a bit of noise (which we were able to fix by blocking it off), the dishwasher is a bit noisy, and the water pressure in the showers was pretty low. None of this detracted significantly from the overall experience, it was still the best luxury cabin we have rented yet. We will absolutely be returning again!

Wonderful, isolated cabin right on the river! We booked a long weekend away for the family (2 adults, 2 young kids, and our dog). The cabin was spacious and fun for the kids and dog. Everyone loved the main living area, the deck, and easy access to the river. The cabin itself had a few minor maintenance-issues to address, like the shower pressure in the master bath, turning on the indoor, gas fireplace, and the hot tub was a funny yellow color (probably just needed more water). All easy fixes that did not make-or-break the weekend. A couple notes that I was not aware of when booking: the outdoor firepit and hot tub area are not accessible from inside. You have to walk outdoors and down the hill to access. Also, they ask for dogs not to be on the furniture or beds. This was fine for us, but may be difficult for others bringing their pets. All in all, it was a lovely weekend away and we would consider booking again in the warmer months for fishing!

Beautiful property that has amazing views of the stars and river with a comforting mountain feel. The amenities at the property were excellent -- comfortable beds, great kitchen area, awesome fireplace -- and the jacuzzi that overlooks the river and stars out back is one the best features that we have had on a trip. Highly recommended place with excellent staff that is incredibly attentive and receptive when communication is needed!

My husband and I stayed at the Tree Top Cabin in late October 2021. The pictures are very accurate. Overall, this was a five star stay and we would 100% stay again should we ever be in the area. Things we loved: - The fire pit / hot tub area - it was a great place to hang out during the cooler nights. - The living room furniture - it was very comfortable! - The view - we loved looking at the river each night. - We never ran out of hot water! (there were only two of us, but my husband tends to linger a long time. ) Things to consider (these did not bother us in any way, but could see that other people might like to know) - The steps to the river. It's a long way back up. Definitely a workout. - Water pressure. You could not take two showers at the same time. Not a big problem for us as we could stagger, but might be an issue for larger groups. Overall, we would 100% stay here again. It was clean and well kept and more importantly, the pictures online are accurate. No bad parts hidden by camera angles.

Our family loves Tree Top and all the cabins on this property! We have found our home away from home for fall vacations. We love that canoes are available to go out on the river and we've caught a ton of fish! The property owners keep the cabin very clean and welcoming. Sitting out on the deck overlooking the river is my happy place.

My friends and I have stayed at Tree Top several times over the years: it's a beautiful house with incredible views of the Shenandoah. The house itself has a great open layout with comfortable bedrooms and loft space, and the amenities are incredible: a large porch with a breath-taking view, separate screened porch, fire pit, and hot tub. It feels secluded yet is within easy distance of Shenandoah River Outfitters and downtown Luray. I can't recommend this place highly enough for a relaxing river getaway!

This is our second time staying at Tree Top and we will surely come back. The deck at Tree Top is your window to the Shenandoah River below. The sounds of nature and the river below provide a relaxing atmosphere and is one of a kind. In the kitchen you are provided all kinds of equipment to prepare a gourmet meal. This time around we ventured out to Luray Caverns which is a few minutes from the cabin. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and the treat was the car museum with an extensive exhibition of early century automobiles. The admin staff and grounds people are all a pleasure to work with.

Had an incredible stay at the tree top cabin. The staff was amazing! They really went out of their way to ensure the driveway was cleared for my wheelchair van and ramps laid out to make the property accessible. Thank you so much for a great time and the professional service.

We stayed at this cabin as a family getaway and it was perfect! It was super cozy and pet friendly. My dog loved the low lying windows and she would look out at the view of the trees and river. The fireplace was cozy and had a nice seating area for family to gather. This location was right by the river, so if you wanted you could go kayaking or fishing (with a license). Our family enjoyed deck in the morning. It was peaceful to sit on the Adirondack chairs with the trees swaying and sounds of the river. The cabin is nestled in Shenandoah Valley so the drive if scenic to get to because you are surrounded by mountains on both sides. It's a little far from stores so I recommend bringing food ahead of time and making meals at the cabin instead of going out though. My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to go back!
