The Casita is 1,300 square feet in size and is located adjacent to our home on five acres in the Tesuque area twelve miles north of the Santa Fe Plaza and minutes from the Santa Fe Opera. Mountain views include the Sangre de Cristos and Jimez ranges. Great hiking trails and biking nearby. The Casita includes a living room, dining area, kitchen, bedroom, bath with shower, green house, portals and patio. The Casita is fully air conditioned. In addition to electric heat there is a wood burning stove in the living room and a kiva fireplace in the bedroom. High speed computer connection and free long distance telephone is provided. The Casita is located separate from our home on 5 acres on a mesa (hilltop) neighborhood north of Santa Fe. Casita has parking at the door and three walled-in ouside areas. Generally, we will be available to greet you, answer questions regarding the Casita and the Santa Fe area and leave you to your privacy.

This property is well stocked and tastefully decorated with many unique features. The owner's are close by but completely respect your privacy. I highly recommend!

You selected a great time of the year to visit Santa Fe. With the doors and windows open, you can hear the birds and owls and the sound of the piano. Glad you enjoyed it.

Santa Fe is located approximately 60 miles north of Albuquerque, New Mexico. Santa Fe is the State Capital and was settled in the 16th century by Spanish explorers. The city is known as the 'City Different' for its blend of history, art, cuisine, scenery and various cultures. The area is known as 'High Desert' being approximately 7,000 feet in altitude and a low amount of annual rain and snow fall.The terrain is valleys and mountains including the Sangre de Cristo and Jimez mountain ranges. The climate is generally moderate with June being the warmest month and, as typical for desert climates, cool evenings.
