Tammy and Dan were wonderful to rent from. As a graduate student interning at the Lubec Medical Center, I stayed for 6 weeks. They were always willing to help with any questions I had (like where to put the trash, how to sort recycling and where to find the best hikes). The home was spacious with a well-equipped kitchen. The home is within (a very short) walking distance from the grocery store, restaurant, brewery and local beaches. It was a perfect place to experience the culture of Lubec!

We had a wonderful and relaxing time. The house was comfortable and we loved the sun room. It was great to be able to walk to all of the restaurants and activities, especially for dinner it was nice to take a little walk and see the sunset.. We appreciated the farm fresh eggs that the owner left for us a couple of times. Wow, they were really good. We are definitely coming back next year.

Grandma's home in Maine! Absolutely loved the quaint home which reminded me of Grandma's house in Massachusetts. Amenities were fantastic and loved the peaceful atmosphere. The room we stayed in was fantastic and we slept well for the week there. Made use of the kitchen and in house laundry and the Keurig was a blessing! Would recommend a stay for anyone looking to decompress!

We enjoyed our week in Lubec. The cottage was small but perfect for the two of us. Our hosts were very accommodating, and we enjoyed meeting them.

Our lovely home may feel small compared to a 4000 sq ft home but our 1500sq ft, 3 bedroom, 2 full bath home has ample living space for up to 7 people. Built in 1889 when bedrooms were not large, this home is actually large for its period with a sunroom, living room, dining room seating 8 and a second dining room, and kitchen there is plenty of living and sleeping space for 7 people in our in-town home.

The house is walkable from the Lubec port of the East Port Ferry. From all other points in Maine take Route 1 to Route 189 into Lubec. Take a right onto Washington Street and then a left on to Pleasant Street. Take a right onto the gravel Driveway that runs between Pleasant Street and Water Street.
