Absolutely Amazing from start to finish.
We Stayed at the Ascent for a mini family reunion and met other relatives who stayed in Windcliff properties also. We had room to have them to our place for a few meals and they in turn had room for us at the property they stayed at. I could not believe the views and the amazing wild life that came right on to the property we so enjoyed our stay and we had everything we needed to feel right at home. We had our adult kids and then our Grand children with us and when we left our Grand Daughter left her doll and when I called the staff sent someone to check for it and sure enough they found it and with in about 4 days it arrived at our door. Crisis averted and all ended well the staff was very helpful and we sure could not have been more pleased. We did lots of looking in the amazing shops in town and Daves Barbque and Tap house is the most amazing place to eat there is not one thing they serve that is not to die for. The park is just a short drive and there is always something to see there and the wildlife is spectacular would not have gone so early in may had we had a choice because it did snow while we were there but it was so pretty and it did not last to long nor keep us from enjoying the time there. The view from the Ascent was so beautiful and with the fire place going just the right touch. We would stay there again if given the chance

I loved the house.
Great house just loved it, was very nice the location was great. Neat decorations and modern, loved the fireplace. Was very clean and the kitchen was very nice.

Best vacation rental we've ever used
I have been renting homes for week-long vacations for many years now, but this is the best rental we have ever stayed at. The house is gorgeous and looked like a show home for Restoration Hardware. The kitchen was very well equipped and even had a crock pot. Extra batteries, flashlights & light bulbs were readily available in case anything went out/wrong during our stay. There were snacks and a starter pack of coffee provided, which considering we arrived WAY later than expected and couldn't get to a grocery store until the next day were much appreciated. The staff at Windcliff was easy to work with and very friendly. We would not hesitate to stay here again and will recommend it to any friends heading out to Estes Park.

Wonderful modern home
Hubby and I stayed for 4 days and 3 nites. The home is well maintained and the owners have put a lot of thought into the design and concept. Very enjoyable stay with gorgeous views and close to downtown Estes.

Beautiful home with amazing views.
Ascent is a modern home, the metal and wood work through are gorgeous. The basement is great for kids or teens, with their own area, main floor has another bedroom and the entire top floor is the master suite. The tub is relaxing and the views from the tub and bed are amazing.

Ascent
We had a 6 day family vaca. The house and views from the house were incredible. Our son proposed at Sprague Lake. We had fun celebrating the engagement. We cooked a lot and watched and listened to the wildlife. The fireplace and master shower were fabulous. The house was huge. Got a little lost the first few days in it. The house had everything you could possibly need and upon arrival it was white glove clean!

Absolutely stunning home.
Our family of 8 just returned from a 5 day stay at the Ascent. It was hard to leave such a beautiful home. Everything is new and modern with large windows throughout. The staff at Windcliff were awesome. Would highly recommend staying at the Ascent. The home is lower on the mountain which we liked, but the views are still excellent. It was everything we had imagined.

We will never stay any place else in Estes
Our family of 8 enjoyed a week at Ascent in mid June. The house is fabulous! The kitchen is almost better equipped than my own kitchen. The master is comparable to what you would see in a 5 star resort. The other bedrooms are also quite nice. This is our third time to stay in Windcliff and there is no nicer home on the mountain. Ascent is low on the mountain making quick treks into town or the national park much more convenient. However, the view down low is not quite as spectacular as it is higher up. The best part of the home is the outdoor furnishings. No one in our group wanted to leave the house to enjoy the rest of Estes because lounging and eating outside was so inviting. Check-in and check-out was super easy and everything was exactly as it was promised. We already tried to book for next year but all the dates are blacked out. Hope they will open up soon. As long as we vacation in Estes we will be at Ascent (if it’s available).

Dream views
My family had the best time at the Ascent house. The first night the house was surrounded by elk, so neat for our kids (and us) to see! We were about 5 minutes from the entrance of Rocky Mountain National Park making it perfect for daily hikes with littles. The wrap around porch and back patio were amazing to sit and enjoy some down time.
We hope one day we can go again!

Ascent is the best vacation rental property we have ever stayed at and we can't wait to go back!
We had a fabulous time spending our Thanksgiving holiday with our family at this property. The house was just built and everything in it is brand new. We loved the floor plan. It has a very spacious open concept design for the common areas. Large windows are throughout showing off the view of the mountains and beautiful sunsets and sunrises. The master bedroom is upstairs and it has everything you could wish for. The master bedroom floor includes a large bathroom with whirlpool tub and separate shower, double vanity, large closet room, doors to the outside upper deck, and even a kitchenette area. The other bedrooms were also spacious with large closets and bathrooms. The beds were all very comfortable with new bedding. My kids' favorite area of the house was the lowest level where the ping pong table was. The house had a lot of board games and DVDs that my kids enjoyed borrowing during their stay. The owners even put a step stool under bathroom sink and added a few plush animals to the downstairs bedroom with twin beds to make the kids feel welcome in their room. We were fortunate to see a lot of falling snow during our visit and there were several deer that would graze near the house.
We loved the location of the house. It is so close to Rocky Mountain National Park and we made several day trips there to take short hikes and go sledding. We also enjoyed going into Estes Park and we watched the Christmas Parade the Friday after Thanksgiving. Estes Park is a lovely town with great shops and restaurants.
