Absolutely love the cabin! We found that we would rather cook at the cabin and sit on the big porch with the beautiful views rather than sit in a restaurant because it didn't compare to the atmosphere we had while eating at home. The cabin was located close to everything we need ed around Estes Park. The plan was to bring our dogs but we didn't and wish we had. Robin had and A bowl of water 2 dog bones and a blanket for the dogs when we arrived. She also said that she would dog sit if we had ever needed. Next time we come to Estes Park this is definitely number one on our list to try to get.

Anniversary Celebration in the Rockies
Our first ever visit to Colorado did not disappoint. We were celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary and wanted a quiet, private cabin with a view. This place was perfect - clean, well supplied, and very accommodating. Located 15 minutes from town and 20 minutes from the Rocky Mountain National Park - everything we dreamed. And the view from the deck is beyond beautiful.

Perfection!
We tried several times to find the perfect cabin in Estes, and this was the one! Absolutely stunning views, very clean, and Mark, the owner, got us through the huge snowstorm that weekend, giving us advice. We left a charger and he offered to mail it to us. Wonderful experience!

Amazing Views!
We stayed in the cabin during Christmas time and it was one of the best decisions my wife and I have made when it comes to vacations. The views were spectacular, the snow was heavenly, and the environment was so relaxing. A definite must-stay for anyone wanting a mountain escape!

Peaceful getaway
My wife and I stayed here from Nov 11-18th for our honeymoon. The cabin was beautiful, and the view from the balcony was breath taking. Mark and Tammy are very friendly and easy to work with. The cabin is fairly isolated, there are some cabins on either side, but didn't see another soul the whole week we were there. Only about a 10 to 15 min drive to Rocky Mountain National Park and only about 5 mins from Estes Park. Definitely saving this location for a future trip.

Perfect Condo with Amazing Views
Being a little outside of Estes Park was very nice. This cabin was fantastic for our stay and I would definitely stay here again in the future.

Outstanding Vacation!
What a wonderful vacation and cabin! The view from the deck is absolutely breathtaking! We spent most of our mornings and evenings there. The owners are extremely helpful and readily available for questions. We will definitely return!

Perfect
We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect spot to call home for our first (hopefully of many) vacations to Colorado. This cabin was clean, conveniently located and the owner was quick to answer my questions. The view was beautiful and the home was well stocked with items we needed to make labeling on vacation easy. We will definitely be returning to this rental the next time we head to Estes Park.

Beautiful, cozy cabin with all the amentities
Loved our stay in this cabin with a beautiful view. It was so nice and cozy and the Christmas decorations were such a nice addition. We enjoyed our week of Christmas and we even had snow on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day! The kitchen has everything you need to cook your own meals, and the fireplace was perfect for a cold morning/evening. Mark was so helpful and was always available via text to answer any question we had. I highly recommend this cabin for a romantic getaway or a family trip. Our kids had their own beds in a separate room which is a plus! It is very conveniently located to town, but secluded enough to be private. We will stay here again if we go back to Estes Park.

About the neighborhood
Mountain living is great here! With every home on approx. 2.5 acres, our neighborhood is safe and quiet. It has the perfect feeling of seclusion, yet not too remote! The Longs Peak Vista Cabin is only 4 miles from the center of all town activities in Estes Park, & just 7 miles from the main east entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park (a.k.a. Beaver Meadows entrance). As a National Park Ranger, homeowner Mark is able to give extra insight into exploring the area and experiencing the wonders of nearby Rocky Mountain National Park. Feel free to ask for ideas!
Getting around
You'll want your own vehicle, as the Longs Peak Vista Cabin is a short 4 miles from the center of all town activities in Estes Park, & just 7 miles from the main east entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park (a.k.a. Beaver Meadows entrance). Tip: however, you may want to consider stopping into the Estes Park Visitor Center, then ride the free hiker's shuttle into Rocky Mountain National Park to avoid parking at crowded trailheads!

How to get there
NOTE - DO NOT rely on GPS the last couple of miles. It'll lead you up a 4X4 jeep road unnecessarily. Instead be sure to turn off of Hwy 36 onto Pole Hill Road at the very top of the meadow by the wooden Ravencrest Chalet sign. Ascend the switchbacks up Pole Hill Road (a wide and we'll maintained gravel road) for approx. 0.75 miles, then turn right on Pine Tree Drive to the cabin. It's a sharp right hand turn into the driveway, but you'll get used to making the turning circumference (we usually pull in forward, and back out when going somewhere). Btw, make sure you don't use any of the neighbor's driveways to turn around in as they have requested, thanks!
