Situated on a private lane near the heart of Comrie, this newly renovated property is ideal for both summer and winter holidays. The secluded garden is ideal for summer barbeques, with extensive mature planting, a patio and private parking for two cars. In winter the central heating system, large open fire and separate wood burning stove add both atmosphere and a distinct sense of luxury. The cottage combines the character of the traditional building with new contemporary spaces, including a striking timber and glass tower, providing both convenience and an inspiring atmosphere in which to relax.

The area around Comrie contains a mixture of farmland, rivers, mountains, lochs and forests - it provides a wealth of experiences for any age of visitor including walking, cycling, golf, fishing, horse riding and adventure sports.

Comrie is Gaelic for “The place where rivers join”
Located in the centre of Scotland, this small conservation village in highland Perthshire is an ideal location for a wide range of outdoor activities. Comrie lies at the meeting point of three rivers, the area has been occupied since prehistoric times and was once the setting for one of the most northerly forts in the Roman Empire. Easily accessible from the south, it makes an excellent holiday destination both in its own right and as a base for touring.

The village caters for all needs with a range of shops including a bakery and a delicatessen. There are two hotels catering for non-residents, a small restaurant and an attractive café.

Airport: Edinburgh: 58.4 mi
Railway: Gleneagles: 16.2 mi
Ferry: Newcastle: 124.3 mi
Comrie is easily accessible with the usual route from Glasgow or Edinburgh being via the M9 to Stirling which becomes the A9 heading for Perth.

The quickest and the most attractive route is to leave the A9 and take the A822, marked “Tourist Route to Pitlochry”, through the villages of Greenloaning and Braco. About half a mile beyond Braco take the B827 for Comrie. This remote hill road gives an ideal introduction to the expansive and spectacular scenery of the Highlands. Arrive in Comrie and turn right at the central T junction. Go past the small square and Pudding Lane is on the left.

However, we do not recommend using the B827 in extreme weather conditions of snow, ice or extensive flooding. Various alternative routes through Crieff are possible, but conditions are really poor, just...
