We booked the house for a small family party - the house & hot tub were perfect for us; the owners were very helpful and quick to respond to any queries; the location is perfect - a short pretty walk into Comrie.

About the neighborhood
Comrie is a village in Perthshire, west of Crieff.

The village sits in the middle of Glen Lednock and Glen Artney. Comrie has a range of local shops with places to stay and eat out.

Comrie is a previous winner of the Best Large Village award from Britain in Bloom and is a conservation village. Its geological position on the Highland Boundary Fault has caused it to experience more earth tremors than anywhere else in the UK. You can see a replica of the world’s first seismometer, installed in 1874, at the tiny Earthquake House nearby at Dalrannoch.

Near-by, Auchingarrich Wildlife Centre, set in the Perthshire hills, houses a variety of exotic and more familiar wildlife, and is well worth a visit.
