We have just got home from a lovely holiday in Portscatho. This house is a great little find, lots of room and three bathrooms which is a bonus! Clean and well presented, the kitchen also has everything you need. Stunning views over the bay, great local pub and cafe, lovely walk to the beach and the hidden hut (yummy). Tatum does takeaway chicken/vegi kebabs and they are amazing, we went back for a second time!! Owner was great at responding pre booking and we didn’t need her whilst we were staying. Our extended family have spent a superb week in this very well appointed house. I could not fault anything and when I did need to discuss the stair gate the response was immediate and helpful I cannot recommend thisproperty highly enough

We are 2 families with 7 persons and spent 10 lovely days in beautiful Portscatho. The house was perfect — nice rooms with bathrooms and a lovely living room with kitchen and the most gorgeous view we‘ve ever had. Only the parking places for 2 cars were a little challenge for us, also because we are coming from Austria and driving on the „wrong side“😅 Portscatho is a small village with a small supermarket (best bread in Britain), a butcher and some nice restaurants to eat. You can enjoy also nice beaches around the area. The South West Coast Path is perfect for walking with the family and also for sports (running) Thank you Simon for renting us your house........

Our group of six adults and two dogs had a fantastic time in Portscatho. The accommodation was in a brilliant location, for coastal path walks and the beaches. The accommodation had superb views from the back across towards the sea and cliffs. Portscatho village had a wonderful atmosphere and everything we needed. We hope to return on another occasion.

A delightfully furnished 3 floor house with very comfortable beds and furniture and an excellent equipped kitchen stunning views great enclosed garden very tastefully decorated A perfect holiday. The owner was so helpful am alteady looking at availability to return

Rarely in my long legged life have I stayed in such a suitable well equipped holiday house. 2 The Quarry was the perfect location for 3 generations of our family attending a wedding. The view is stupendous - the open plan 'upside down' accommodation maximises it. 4 bedrooms with excellent bathroom facilities, everything you could possibly want in the kitchen cupboards. Best of all a very pleasant friendly easy to deal with owner who sounded determined that we have have a great time. We certainly did. I cannot recommend this house and location highly enough. Great coffee shop in the village. Hidden Hut at Porthcurnick well worth a visit. Coastal path a treat for walkers. Place House an idyllic setting for a wedding marquee. Thank you.

We booked this property for two main reasons - it has fantastic views over the bay, and 4 bedrooms. This is a definite bonus as it avoids 3 children arguing over 2 bedrooms! We were impressed with the presentation, facilities and cleanliness. The kitchen was well equipped and the dining/living area is very spacious. There is outside space, although no garden - but this wasn't an issue as we spent the days out and about and on the beach. The range of games, dvds and books provided was a bonus and kept everyone happy in the evenings! We had a great week (and were very lucky with the weather), and would thoroughly recommend this property to families looking for somewhere in a quiet location and close to the beach.

We stayed at 2 The Quarry in August 16, the house was perfect for us. 4 bedrooms 2 with en suites plus a family bathroom. The open plan dining, sitting room and kitchen is at the top of the house with magnificent views over Gerran's Bay. The Quarry is very well equipped throughout and we didn't want for anything. There is a washing machine and tumbler dryer in the garage on the ground floor with ample drying space both in and out of doors. Tastefully decorated and comfortable we would definitely stay here again.
