This is a fantastic place for a holiday with family and/or friends. The house is beautifully decorated and comfortable with plenty of space, including several balconies and terraces which makes sharing with others easy. The views are exceptional. Beds are comfortable and the house is well equipped. There are two barbecues and a sheltered sitting out area by the pool. Isabel, the owners agent, speaks excellent English and is on hand to help with anything you need. Montejaque itself is charming and the town square with its bars and a small hotel are within easy walking distance. Highly recommended.

We stayed here for our summer holiday. We could not have asked for more - the villa is spacious, furnished well, and in a great location on the edge of Montejaque - a short walk from the village centre. We were a party of 5, but the villa is large enough that a party of * could stay without feeling ontop of each other. Surrounded by mountains, with a view down the valley to Benaojan, the location is peaceful and calm. The pool and pool area are ideal - plenty of room around the pool for a BBQ, 8 sun beds, a table to eat at. The pool was cool and refreshing, and serviced regularly. There is an poolside shower and toilet, meaning that there is no need to enter the villa all wet. The living accommodation is spacious and well furnished. The kitchen has everything you need if you want to cook, and there is a terrace just off the kitchen ideal for that morning cup of tea, or evening sundowner. One floor up is a suntrap, with stunning views. The village itself has several small supermarkets who stock the essentials. Ronda is not far away where there are larger supermarkets with a more comprehensive offering. There are also several bars and restaurants, serving a choice of traditional Spanish food, tapas, and Mediterranean cuisine. For a special treat, head to Molino del Santo in Estacion de Benaojan. All in all, a great place for a relaxing holiday.

Las Tres Fuentes in Montejaque is a very special place. It is characteristically Spanish in appearance and decor; airy & spacious but also homely and cosy with everything we needed as three couples - lots of living space so that we could all be together and plenty of small quiet places to read a book in peace, The pool area is fantastic with sun beds, tables and chairs. plenty of shade and a pool side shower room. The roof top terrace is " la pieza de resistencia " - beautiful views of the village, the valley below and the mountains, not forgetting the spectacular birds of prey up above. At night time the stars were beautiful. Thank you to Roz and Paul for sharing your beautiful home. The information and communication both before and during our stay was professional and personal.

We arrived at the property as a party of 4 quickly joined by my niece and her husband and 10mth old baby. The villa has everything you would need to hand and Roz and Paul had left a welcoming pack which was lovely. All the bedrooms are light and airy we were not hot or stuffy and we could have breakfast together then sit out on the lovely terrace. Everything is available to do a bbq at the villa which we did for lunch one day.The walk into the village is lovely the villages so very friendly and welcoming 3 shops if you need essentials follow Roz's guide and try all the bars😂. We had tapas in the square with Anttonio at EI Canich. We also had a meal at Restaurante La Casita but would have to say their Sunday Bbq it was amazing (just a tip if you want fish on your Barbi they require 24 hrs notice). We had the use of a car for 2 was we went to around a a few times in the day and in the evening. We did a day trip to Marbella great for the baby with the beach and Orange Square in the old town is good for tourist gifts and little restaurants for good food. On the road to Benaojan there is a slip road takes you up into the mountains round the National Park amazing views and parking points for you to take fantastic pictures. Evenings in the village are good you can have a drink and not worry about driving. We all had a fantastic 2 weeks and I'm sure we will be back.

I recently stayed here for the third time and I fall in love with the place more and more each time I visit. The villa is immaculate and has all facilities and utensils you could possibly require - it really does have a homely feel. It is based only a short walk from the beautiful square where there are a few bars for tapas and drinks which are incredibly well priced! There is also a restaurant in the village called Restaurante La Casita which serves very, very good food and is set in amazing settings. There is also another incredible restaurant a short drive away in the neighbouring village, Benaoján, (about 5 mins drive from the villa) called Hotel Restaurante Molino del Santo which is located by the river and especially at night is a really scenic place to dine and again, the food is top notch. Rhonda is the closest town (15 mins drive away) and is great for shopping, dining and sight seeing. I hope my review helps you decide on your next venture, I promise you would not be disappointed.

Beautiful, well equipped villa with fantastic outside spaces and a beautiful pool - even after seeing the photographs the villa way surpassed my expectations. It is situated in the lovely white village of Montejaque surrounded by dramatic scenery yet not far from the historic and lively town of Ronda. Las Tres Fuentes provides a wonderful and peaceful space to relax but situated in an area with so much to do and explore. Roz (the owner) provided an abundance of information on the local area and beyond. Just perfect.

We had a fabulous week in April at this lovely villa in Montejaque. We had great communication with Roz in the build up to our trip. She was so helpful and prompt and and gave us many recommendations for trips and eating out. We were met on time in the village on arrival and the villa was lovely and well equipped. It suited us as a group of 6 adults. The village is quiet and everyone friendly and we had some superb meals in the local bars and restaurants; all so reasonably priced. Again, follow Roz's recommendations and you won't go wrong! We didn't travel far preferring to do local walks from the villa but there are many places to visit nearby. Loved every minute!

Las tres Fuentes is a great house to stay in for a holiday: comfortable, with plenty of space and very well equipped. The surrounding scenery is spectacular which you can appreciate from the house and of course the weather was lovely. Roz is also great, caring about your stay and providing a wealth of information on just about everything you might need. Thanks Roz, we had a lovely time.

We enjoyed our stay in this lovely villa so much. It is beautifully situated just outside Montejaque, so a very short walk into a historic, friendly and atmospheric village, which has a good bakery, perfectly adequate small supermarkets and an extraordinary choice of bars and restaurants. We were lucky to be in Montejaque when the festival was on, and enjoyed the events enormously. The surrounding landscape is stupendous, and can be seen especially advantageously from the villa, at the poolside and from the upper terraces. The bedrooms are spacious and well furnished, as is the large communal area, and the villa is very well equipped. The area is great for exploration, by car and railway, and also on foot (when the sun allows), with many exceptional places to visit nearby. Cristobal and Isobel were very welcoming and helpful to us, and the owner, Roz Littler, was especially thoughtful in all her contacts with us. This is a perfect spot for a memorable holiday.

This was a beautiful villa in an amazing location. The local scenery was awesome. We did some lovely walks such as the Camininto del Ray (They have their own web site and you need to book in advance). The caves just beyond the next village are well worth a visit and so is Ronda. We were a group of seven 3 x +70yr olds, 2 x +50yr olds and 2 x +20yr olds. The villa was well equipped for everyones needs. We loved the upstairs terrace for breakfast with wonderful views and the shaded area by the pool for lunch. The village of Montejaque is also beautiful and the walk up to the view point very pretty and the best way to explore the village. There are plenty of bars and some lovely restaurants, who all despite our lack of ability to speak Spanish made us very welcome. I would recommend this villa to anyone who wants a taste of real Spain. Our only regret is we were only there for a week. We will definitely have to visit again as there is so much more in the area we would like to do and we didn't spend enough time lazing by the lovely pool side.

About the neighborhood
Surrounding area Just 10 - 15 minutes away from the villa is the lovely town of Ronda. This is a historic and fascinating town, full of character and has good shops and numerous places to eat. The famous and dramatic 'Tajo Gorge,' (100 metres deep) divides the old and newer sides of the town, and is linked by an eighteenth century bridge. There are spectacular views across the gorge and out across the valley to the mountains. Ideally situated to explore other pretty pueblo blancos, towns and cities by car. Sevilla, Málaga, Jerez, Cádiz and Arcos de la Frontera, all under 1hour 30 min. Ronda has many wonderful bars, restaurants ranging from simple tapas to fine dining, shops and the famous bullring and gorge. Locally, in Benaojan you can visit the Cueva de la Pileta; these are caves with prehistoric paintings. There is a Roman amphitheatre at Acinipo. The wonderful Grazalema Natural Park and lake at Zahara are well worth a visit.

How to get there
