This was a very special house - very cool design yet homely. Lots of room to spread out, plenty of bathrooms with an amazing communal table where we would gather round every evening. Bonus hot tub with a picture window too. Big deck outside with table tennis table and a small stream you could follow up the mountains - snow topped when we were there in April. It's a complete break from city life - though there is a beautiful medieval city - Brasov - nearby if you feel like shopping or a good dinner. Also lots of countryside activities - adventure park in the woods, bears, horse and cart rides. The owner has complied a brilliant list of things to do locally. Great place to switch off would definitely return!

Wir haben das Haus von Dinu über Silvester 3 Tage bewohnen dürfen. Der Gastgeber antwortet sehr schnell und ausführlich auf Anfragen. Ebenfalls erhält man ein ausführliches Dokument zugesendet mit wirklichen ALLEN wichtigen Informationen rund um das Haus und die Umgebung. Das Haus entspricht allen versprochenen Standards und sieht identisch aus wie auf den Fotos. Es ist optimal für 8 Personen und wurde gerade in der kalten Jahreszeit wirklich gut beheizt (was nicht selbstverständlich ist). Das Haus verfügt im Dachgeschoss über einen Jacuzzi der einmal pro Tag aufgrund der Wassermenge benutzt werden kann. Die Sauberkeit im Haus ist ausgezeichnet und ebenfalls die Ausstattung. Wir bewohnen des Öfteren Ferienhäuser/Wohnung in unterschiedlichen Ländern und dies war bis jetzt das Erste wo wirklich nichts gefehlt hat (Spülmittel, Seife im Badezimmer, diverse Tassen/Geschirr Töpfe, Waschmaschine mit Waschmittel...). Daher ein wirklich großes Lob an Dich Dinu. AUSGEZEICHNET! Ebenfalls wurde nach dem Aufenthalt ein Feedback eingeholt und auch darauf reagiert, wie der Aufenthalt war. We spent a pleasant week in this chalet, which comfortably accommodated 2 families. The property is well located for sightseeing and walking. Both the owner and caretaker were very helpful and knowledgable.

We, a family group of 11, enjoyed Casa Heidi greatly. It was built and designed by Dinu who also operates it. He was hugely helpful in preparations before the trip and constantly "accompanied us" online when required while we were in Romania. He provided a comprehensive and accurate description of the house and its facilities as well as a complete guide of what to do, where to visit, where to eat and shop and how to get around. He was available all the time we were there and always prepared to help and provide ideas or solutions. Without these, our holiday would not have been the same. Casa Heidi is a spacious, fully equipped and tastefully furnished villa. The presentation on the website provides a clear and reliable picture of the house. It is situated in a quiet area "hidden behind a hill", within the picturesque village of Bran, with a clear fresh stream running by and a huge national park within walking distance. "Dracula's Castle" is close by too, as are other tourist sites. Restaurants and supermarkets are also a few minutes away by car. We were all very comfortable had a great holiday. Highly recommended!

We visited Vila Heidi twice in the past four years, on both occasions in spring. It is a great place to have a good rest and to explore the beautiful region. The house is in Bran, off the main road, close to nature, but also to Bran Castle and the local amenities. The location allowed us to visit the near-by villages and to make day-trips to Brasov and Sibiu. It is ideal for a larger group with an open plan kitchen-living room, en-suite bedrooms, and a nice terrace where we could enjoy our breakfast in the sun. The owners are very helpful, and provided lots of useful information.

We stayed in Casa Hiedi for a week in July. The house is modern, comfortable, clean,had all the facilities we needed and much more. Situated among the green hills of Bran, and all you see is nature around you. Mircea helped us with everything we wanted and made us feel at home. We can't wait to come back and highly recommend Casa Heidi to everyone.

My family (2 adults and 2 kids 5+9) stayed at the house for a week during August 15. The house is just beautiful - simple and practical design, very cosy and comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped, the living room full of areas to sit read and relax, or for the kids to play around. The garden was inviting to play ball with the kids, or just to sit in the sun and enjoy the sound of the little nearby stream. The rooms are convenient, the beds comfortable and there is a bathroom in every room. The house is well maintained, clean, and visited daily by a local guy who takes care of everything necessary. The area surrounding the house is just beautiful - you are surrounded by green meadows, forest and mountains. We all enjoyed taking short hikes around the house and feeling the nature. Overall, the kids and adults alike loved the house, and we spent a great week, which included one day we were rained in, which we didn't mind at all since we just enjoyed hanging around. One of the best vacation houses I've ever rented, and I highly recommend it. Yaniv

We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday in Transylvania in general and Casa Heidi in particular. Pretty much everywhere we went, and everything we did, was much better even than we'd anticipated. Casa Heidi made a great base and the walk up the valley from the house was magical. The scenerey was so good you could hardly believe it, and the odd passing horse-drawn cart just completed the picture. The guide to the locality was very useful and the house was very comfortable. We slept well after viewing the night sky, which was so full of stars, not to mention the occasional distant sound of wolves howling. Mircea was very friendly & helpful, and we had amusing conversations in a mixture of French, Romanian & English. The jacuzzi was a bonus too. We very much enjoyed Bran Castle, the Bear Sanctuary, Zarnesti Gorge, Sigishoara and walking in the mountains. The children didn't want to leave, which I could understand, and in fact my 16 year old son said it was the best holiday he'd ever been on. We would very much like to return, as, though we were there for 10 days, we still ran out of time and missed exploring quite a few more beautiful looking places.

After a long journey by train and then by taxi we arrived in Bran and were welcomed to our 'home' for a week. A gorgeous house surrounded by fields, beautiful scenery, the sounds of a babbling stream and tinkling cow bells. After we had wandered through the house, with explanations from our guide regarding all operations of the kitchen, heating, bathrooms, bedding and how to operate the spa on the top floor, we quickly settled into the relaxing feel of our home. The home is well equipped if you wish to prepare your own meals, with all the necessary kitchen items. Rooms are warm, spacious and very comfortable. All linen is provided. The spa on the top floor, accessed by a ladder from the bedrooms, was certainly a draw card for us, and well used. If you need time to relax from your busy trip, then lying in the roomy spa, overlooking the green hills and fields is certainly the way to go. We did not have our own transport and although the home is close to the township, it was limiting when we wished to travel further afield. There are however buses that travel regularly to nearby Brasov and taxis too are a great alternative for sightseeing. A 15 minute walk to the centre of the township revealed the imposing Bran Castle, overlooking the goings on in the town. Well worth a visit, the many rooms and hallways in the castle have been lovingly restored, and you can wander through out the castle and appreciate the views of Bran and the countryside from many different aspects. Correspondence through emails regarding payment was easy and information given by our host regarding activities in the area was appreciated. There was a bit of confusion about the final payment for our stay, but that was quickly dealt with, once again over emails. Hopefully we will be able to return and spend some more time in this beautiful home. Thank you Dinu! :).
