About the neighborhood
If you refer to Bosa as a 'village' to a local resident, you will be corrected - Bosa is a city, because, historically, it was a strategic location in Sardegna, with a mysterious and fascinating story.
The centrepiece of Bosa is the ancient quarter called Sa Costa, where the original stone houses nestle side by side along narrow cobblestone streets, cascading below the Malaspina Castle that sits majestically above on the hill's crest, originally positioned to be able to spot approaching pirates. Our home is one of these original stone buildings, each painted a different colour, creating a charming patchwork effect when viewed from a distance.
