We have 2 separate, large, wonderful vacation rentals right next to each other in the oak area. They are set up very similar and between the two houses you can have quite a large group. We know this site charges a guest booking fee and our prices are rolled down 10% to reflect that to give the guest the proper rate. There is a street car line 3 blocks away that runs all the way into the quarter with a beautiful ride down Saint Charles. Description of house: This master unit is 2 stories.....Upstairs has 3 private bedrooms and a full bath. Downstairs has 2 large living/dinning rooms, a huge dinning table plus a half bathroom, foyer and large kitchen. There are great porches on the front and the back of the house and off street parking in the backyard. This 100 year old uptown house has been renovated and restored back to its original style, with original hardwood floors and trim work, mantels and doors, plus new central AC and heat. The clean kitchen and baths have gorgeous tile work, plus a large front porch for hanging out on. Each house has separate washer and dryer. You can smell Jacque-imo's delicious cooking from the front porch and dance home from the maple leaf any time of night. About the neighborhood
We love our little neighborhood. The house is right off Oak st on quiet Cambronne, but right around the corner from all the action on Oak. Oak street area is one of the hippest local spots in town. With great restaurants, great music, and great bars up and down the street, most guests set aside at least a couple nights during their stay to enjoy our block.... all within very close walking distance of the house.
Getting around
There are lots of great restaurants, music venues, and things to do within walking distance of our house. The Street car picks up 3 blocks away and goes into the french quarter. Uber and Lyft are great in NOLA and very affordable for moving around the city.
