Unique cottage on bluff overlooking Lake Catherine, about 4 miles outside of Hot Springs, Arkansas.
Just the right size for a couple or a family of 4. Beautiful lake views from the front room, living room and deck. Lots of wild life.
The cottage consist of one bedroom and one bathroom with and additional sleeping area on the glassed in front room. There is a queen size memory foam mattress in the bedroom and a full sized futon in the front room. If you have a boy and a girl, I also have a blow up mattress just right for one or the other, just let me know.

The bathroom is accessed through the master bedroom. Please be aware of this, as it may be a problem with more than a couple staying.
This is one of the most restful places I have ever lived. The road is off the beaten trail, and only the few neighbors will drive by.
The deck is wonderful, nice place to sit and enjoy the sunrise, a nice drink and beautiful lake views.
Really not a good place to swim However, if you are adventurous, you can walk down to the lake on public access steps, but, it is a steep climb up, and there is no beach or dock. Just a bank. VERY STEEP climb. There is a public water access just up the road where you can launch a boat or fish. Water can be very cold here since it comes from below the dam up stream. There is off the road parking at the back of the house, several steps up to the parking area.

I wish we would have been able to stay for 2 days, to be able to thoroughly explore and enjoy the stay but I don’t want to stay anywhere else the next time we are in Hot Springs. Thank you for a wonderful weekend.

Arkansas trip
We loved the cabin. Had a great view of the lake, was very quiet and peaceful. Only issue was I got locked in the back room with the French doors but my mom was able to unlatch the French doors from the other side. Kinda scary until you know how it works.

Great Location and Water View, Really Clean
Very, very clean and close to all Hot Springs has to offer. The property is just as advertised, a great alternative to the local hotels. The view of the Ouachita River from the property is spectacular. Loved hiking and visiting the town of Hot Springs.

Relaxing cabin with great sunroom and location
Enjoyed the stay here, since it was a cutely decorated cabin and close to attractions in Hot Springs, like the Garvan Woodland Gardens. Sunroom is especially enjoyable for breakfast and quiet reading in morning. Host was very responsive and easy to work with. Very reasonable price as well compared to other pet friendly cabins in the area.

Peaceful and quiet
It was a late booking for my girlfriends birthday with only opening on Monday night, a few days after her bday. It was quiet and calm, along with an exquisite dinner at the Porterhouse, amazing steakhouse, it was exactly what we needed!! Thank you

Cozy and comfy
I had originally booked this trip for my husband and I but ended up taking our whole family for the weekend. We all really enjoyed staying at this cabin and felt really comfortable. The views of the sun rising over the water while steaming was gorgeous and very satisfying. Location wise was great in comparison to down town Hot Springs. The dogs enjoyed them selves as well and would love to visit again in the future.

So peaceful and serene!
We loved the cabin! The view was beautiful! The well appointed cabin had everything we needed! We loved the seclusion, but also being minutes away from town. My family of four and our dog had a great time. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you so much for our wonderful weekend!

Relaxing weekend getaway
We wanted a getaway from Houston but wanted to be able to drive. This was a manageable distance and we were really able to relax and unwind. Cabin was comfortable and quiet, Hot Spings was fun and interesting, and we had a great time!

Weekday getaway
We loved the walks, they are pet friendly and its quiet and cozy. Best part is the proximity to city center with the seclusion. Best of both worlds.
