Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge are gateway towns to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. They offer a wide variety of restaurants, mountain arts & crafts, music, multiple amusements and activities, sports, theme parks, dinner shows, outlets and shopping venues. The National Park is over a half-million acres – it is the country’s most-visited national park. You can start at Mountain Springs and make your way to one of the park’s visitor centers, then a hike to one of many waterfalls or a hike on the Appalachian Trail itself or a wildflower walk or a walk down one of many Quiet Walkways may leave you with a smile and a lasting impression. The experiences changes with every season.
