The house was beautiful, everything and more that we hoped it would be! Pat was a wonderful host and gave us some perfect recommendations for where to eat. Coffee bar was spectacular, I don’t think we left much for the next guests. The dining room table was the best gathering spot, we spent more time around that than in the beautiful living room. 10/10 would stay again! 5 stars!

Wonderful extended family trip for Gettysburg Festival
A few years ago our extended family began to take a weekend holiday each December in place of buying Christmas gifts for one another. We have been to Williamsburg, Hershey, Old town Alexandria, and Bethany Beach. After staying at The Corner Brick right outside of Gettysburg, we do not know how we will ever find accommodations that compare. In a nutshell, The Corner Brick was the perfect combination of elegance, history, comfort and size for our family (8 adults, 3 teens). We spent our Friday and Saturday days at the Gettysburg Christmas festival but decided to have our dinners inside each night so that we could enjoy the house in full. Decorations were lovely (I took pictures of each room), every amenity was available, and we all loved the coffee cake, brownies, and other nibbles left for us. The morning coffee cake was the most delicious I have ever had and the coffee drinkers were so pleased to have a coffee station. It was very easy to make all arrangements and the homeowners were delightful to correspond with. We would go back in a heartbeat.

Memorable stay!!!
Our stay was fabulous!!! The house is gorgeous inside, everything was so clean. The way the owners have decorated the inside is so cozy and comfortable. Our family had a wonderful time sitting around that beautiful long dining room table sharing a meal and talking till midnight every evening. I would recommend this house to family and friends, and I will definitely go here again in the future. Pat and Nadine thank you so much for a wonderful stay in your beautiful home.

Incredibly comfortable place to stay!
We had a great time visiting Gettysburg and staying at the Corner Brick. The accommodations were amazing and everyone in our group felt very comfortable. Everything was very clean and the home had a rustic charm. We really appreciated the baked goods in the kitchen when we arrived. There was very little that we needed to bring with us, as everything was provided, including towels, coffee, tea and dishes. The owners were fantastic hosts!
We would love to stay here again on our next visit. Thank you for making our stay so pleasurable.

Cosy and elegant home with all the amenities you can wish for !
We stayed at the Corner Brick over the Christmas holidays (2016) and absolutely loved it. Pat and Nadine had decorated the house with a traditional flair and it was very welcoming to step into. The high ceilings, woodwork and traditional furniture give the house an old world charm that suits the proximity to Gettysburg and all its history. The house is also stocked with all the things you would need to feel right at home - including all kinds of utensils to cook with, cultlery, linen, fireplace, DVDs, games, etc. etc. And as chronic coffee addicts, we loved the fresh roasted beans, grinder and the Bunn brewer. Exquisite !! You could arrive there with just your bare minimum travel bags and have a wonderful at-home-living kind of vacation. The proximity to Ski Liberty (<3 miles away) and essential shopping (grocery and restaurants withing walking distance) is a plus. On top of that Pat and Nadine leave a nice touch - with cookies and candies to welcome us in and make us comfortable from the first minute on. The corner brick is one of the best places we have stayed at on our vacations. You cant go wrong with this !!

Very pleasant house rental for small family reunion
A portion of our family (15 persons) met at The Corner Brick in Fairfield PA, 15 min from Gettysburg and the battlefields. We took advantage of the fully equipped kitchen (including an assortment of coffees, bean grinder, and Bunn coffee maker), the large dining table for dinners and games (everyone fit), the comfy couches and chairs in the living room for family presentations (displayed photos on TV), the flower-filled backyard and gas grill, and 5 nice bedrooms, some quite large, for the 8 that slept over (others preferred to commute). The two bathrooms, one up and one down, were sufficient for everyone. The upstairs and one bedroom downstairs are air conditioned, keeping the rest of the first floor cool enough (outside temps in the 90s). The owners are so nice and welcomed us with freshly baked goodies. You can't miss with this gem of a house rental if you need five bedrooms in the Gettysburg area!

Loved it - recommending to all our friends & family
We booked The Corner Brick for a small family reunion - 8 adults aged 27-91 and a toddler - and it was perfect for our needs. Our mom had the spacious bedroom on the first floor, and the four upper-level bedrooms provided plenty of space for the rest of us. The Corner Brick is beautifully decorated and immaculate with lots of personal touches throughout. Since we had come to visit the Gettysburg battlefield, we appreciate the well-stocked library and DVD cabinet which contained lots of choices including many volumes on Civil War history. The property is also beautifully landscaped, and we enjoyed eating several of our meals outside. The fireflies in the back garden at twilight are magical! The hosts also provided delicious baked goods for breakfast. We would definitely return!

Character, class & convenience!
My husband and I, along with extended family, stayed here for 5 nights last week. Lovely home tenderly decorated with antiques, comfy furniture and nice linens. Pat & Nadine welcomed us, showed us around, and left plates of baked goods for us to enjoy. The 5 bedrooms worked beautifully for our 8 adults and one toddler. Their backyard and gardens are BEAUTIFUL, and we were able to enjoy them for two dinners and nightly firefly watching. Great coffee available and all sorts of toiletries. It was a great location for trips to Gettysburg, Lancaster County and Harper's Ferry. Be aware that there are two full bathrooms plus an extra sink/vanity area, and that the home is located on a fairly busy street/highway.

We are located 8 miles west of historic Gettysburg in beautiful Fairfield, Adams County. The rolling country side with it's apple and peach orchards and civil war battlefields are some of the most beautiful in the country. The perfect place for church retreats, family reunions, group vacations and history buffs. The many scenic views are breath taking. The farm land with cattle and sheep grazing peacefully, the roads perfect for relax driving and bike riding are in itself a reason to visit.
