There are stairs leading to 2nd floor which houses both bedrooms and bathrooms. There are no child gates at either top or bottom of stairs.
Fairmount is also called the Art Museum area and is a neighborhood known for its welcoming, family friendly atmosphere. There are parks around the corner, multiple restaurants, a grocery store, pharmacy, gas station and sandwich shop. Walking-distance access to Philadelphia Museum of Art, Franklin Institute, Rodin Museum and Barnes Foundation.
Getting around
There is 1 hr (8am-8pm)free street parking in front of the house. In between those times no limit. Unlimited parking found 1 block north. It’s fairly easy to park before 5pm. When residents come back from work you may need to look 2 block north.
Public Transportation is 1 block away at 23rd and Aspen Buses 7, 48 and Bus 33 at 19th and Brown.
There is a self park/self pay open 24 hours at 22nd and Fairmount next to the house.
