Too many lights. two at the front entry, one on the back porch, floodlights out front, hanging string lights out back and streetlights out front. This place is lit up like Wrigley Field. The property manager tried to alleviate our concerns and were very attentive, however we lost a lot of sleep because of how light it was inside even with the blinds closed. The front and back lights are on timers and the management company said something about city regulations for the amount of lighting the city requires. The city must have stock in the power company. The place is clean and is better than a hotel and the bike area in the back is nice to have. Located perfectly for food and shopping. However, turn those lights down/off or use 40 watt instead of 100 watt bulbs. Seriously, you could land a plane with those lights.

Nice place, small bathroom and kitchen
It's an ok place to stay. The hot tub is nice and so is the apartment, but it just feels cramped. The bathroom and kitchen in particular. The price is great compared to everything else in Moab.

Excellent alternative to overpriced hotels
We have stayed in Moab numerous times in both hotels and Bed & Breakfasts. However B&B no longer are an option since we have 2 small children and have yet to find one that accepts kids in the Moab area... That left us with hotels and we really have the feeling we've ssen it all. All the same noisy, charmless and expensive rooms.
And there comes Moab Flats ! What a gorgeous place to stay. We would not consider going to a hotel any longer as this place offers all you could wish. A lot of space for a family with separate rooms, a very clean and well maintained outside space.
There's even a hot tub.

Very Nice Unit
Just off the main drag on a quiet street. Easy to walk to. The interior is all new and nicely decorated. It was well stocked and we were very comfortable. We would definitely go back.

we love staying here, second time around!
since we go jeeping every day, it's important to have a laundry right there, as well as a kitchen. bed is comfortable, bathroom sink collects water and spills on the floor, only fault I have with the place.

Great location near downtown
We were traveling with our college age daughters and stayed only 2 nights in Moab but all of us wished we could have spent more time there. The flat was neat,clean and had a comfortable decor perfect to return to after day trips to the area attractions. The only thing that was frustrating was the AC. It got really hot at night (especially in the loft area) and the fan was very loud and seemed to run all night .The temp didn't seem to stay as cool as we may have liked but once we figured out how to regulate it, it was a bit better.

When the sun is too hot, enjoy this home away from home!
Really enjoyed the location - we walked to town many times. Just as nice as the pictures shown. We got out early and came home for "siestas" in the afternoons before going out again at night. It was a place I looked forward to taking a rest in.

Perfect for our family of four.
We felt at home at the nicely drvorated Flat. Our teenaged boys enyed the Murphy bed and the sleeping nook. We will definately book again.

Great condo - defibitely recommend!
Newly constructed, beautifully decorated, comfortable furnishings and beds, nice kitchen with all supplies, TVs in living room and both bedrooms. Very clean and quiet. Located on outer edge of Main Street, but close to everything - 10 mins to Arches NP. Hotel doesn't have a great view of anything and is located next to restaurants, but in Moab, you don't spend much time in the hotel anyway. Bike storage and wash area available.
Staff was super helpful and available. It was the perfect condo for my family - will definitely return (and I have high standards).

Awesome base for a Moab adventure
My wife and I stayed in Moab Flat #5 for 5 nights, and we couldn't believe how great this place was for us.
- Huge clean apartment. The pictures on TripAdvisor were exactly how we found it to be.
- Moab Flats has upstairs and downstairs apartments. #5 is upstairs. The floors squeaked some as we walked around, and I feel bad if the folks below us head us. We only heard people in other apartments twice, but otherwise all was quiet (quieter than we expected).
- We used the hot tub out back twice and it is clean and hot! There is a tree in the middle of the back area, so you do not have the sun blazing down on you (a good thing).
- Whomever designed the whole layout of the property (street view, interior, and back space) did a phenomenal job, it all looks great and we appreciated all the small details.
- Having a washer/dryer in the unit was a wonderful luxury. Laundry soap was also provided, and we took full advantage of that!
- Moab Flats is on a side street right off Main Street. We saw very little through traffic and zero road noise at night, but we were super close and were easily able to walk up Main St for coffee/breakfast.
- Parking is directly out front of the unit = super easy.
- Per request on a paper you get on check in, we turned up the A/C each morning before we left for the day to save energy. When we returned in the evening and switched the A/C to cool down the place, it took impressively little time to chill down the whole apartment. We were always comfortable. The bedroom has a ceiling fan too.
- The kitchen is stocked with much that might be needed for anyone doing some cooking. We used the freezer, fridge, and stove and all worked great.
- Instead of a key, there is an "electronic deadbolt" on the door. aka, you punch in a code and the door unlocks. We loved this - such a better idea than having to keep track of who had the key.
- Free WiFi (good since cell service is otherwise limited around Moab).
Considerations:
- Moab Flats #5 is not handicap accessible, so anyone in a wheelchair or trouble walking up a flight of stairs should consider looking elsewhere (maybe other units are accessible, I'm not sure?).
- There is not room service (making the bed, changing bath towels, etc) during your stay. This was not a problem for my wife and I, especially since we had a washer/dryer in the unit, but just FYI for you.
