My friend and I took our two teenage sons to tour Sherpherd University in nearby Shepherdstown, WV and stayed at the Antietam Guest House. It was conveniently located to the school (10 minutes or so) and gave us all plenty of room. Much better than a hotel room! The owners thought of pretty much everything we needed for our stay...

We especially thank the guests who take the time to share their experience of a visit in our 1856 house, once the...

This rustic house was the perfect solution to our trip, and I didn't know what a gem it was until we arrived. We stepped into the house and immediately felt at ease. Nothing fancy just a wonderfully decorated, warm, comfortable place to...

We were watching National Geographic in bed while eating breakfast and decided to be spontaneous. We got in contact with the owner and within an hour...we were headed to Maryland. The house itself is old and time period of the civil war, making our battlefield getaway all the more enjoyable. The beds are comfortable, breakfast was included, plenty to read...
