Renovated single level 2 bedroom condo unit with two lanais and partial ocean view in the beautiful Kamaole Sands complex. The condo has central air conditioning (three air conditioning units) which is a rare feature for the Kamaole Sands complex. The first bedroom consists of 2 twin beds and an ensuite bathroom. The second bedroom contains a queen size bed and one of the two lanai's. The open area has a very comfortable queen wall bed/ murphy bed.
The kitchen has a microwave oven, range, dishwasher and refrigerator with ice maker. Kitchen is well stocked with utensils including pots, pans, knives, assorted dishes, plates, cups, glassware, etc.

As a guest at Kamaole Sands you will have to pay a resort fee charge of $40 at check-in. The resort fee plus tax collected at check-in and includes entry gate code, parking permit, daily newspaper, computer access in the lobby, Maui magazine, free local and 800 calls, and a weekly Mai Tai Party by the pool on Wednesdays from 3:00 - 4:45 PM.

Comfortable, roomy, well appointed condo across the street from a wonderful family friendly sandy beach.
This remodeled condo was perfect for our adult group family vacation. The floorplan is well laid out, the rooms are spacious and bright with ample lighting, and the AC (while not necessary 24-7) was a welcome amenity after a long day at the beach or out exploring the island. This unit is close enough to the pool and BBQ grills to be reached by a short walk, yet secluded enough to provide ample privacy and avoid most of the busier more active parts of the complex. The exterior of the buildings is very well maintained, and the landscaping is stunning, inviting short or long walks in the cool early mornings or warm sunsets. The complex is located at the southern edge of busy Kihei, close to an abundance of shops, stores, restaurants, and activities, including numerous beautiful beaches. Additionally, the owner (John) was very responsive to all my inquiries, quick to provide information, and was a pleasure to work with. An exceptional value for a comfortable and beautiful property. Enthusiastically highly recommended!

I would highly recommend staying at this condo.
We were a party of six, four adults and two children, ages 6 &7, and stayed at this condo May 27 - June, 3, 2021.
We had specifically looked for a place with air conditioning as our last trip without air was slightly uncomfortable after a day at the beach. Having air conditioning in the living room/kitchen area and both bedrooms as well as ceiling fans, made the evenings very comfortable.
Though the two bathrooms were small, they were clean and functional. The bedrooms were nice size and were clean. The Murphy bed was perfect for the kids.
The washer and dryer came in useful as we had done some hiking and were glad to not have to take home dirty clothes.
This condo had everything we needed - beach umbrellas, beach chairs, a cooler, and boogie boards, which were used a great deal by the kids. We made good use of the Kamaole Sands pool and the grounds surrounding the buildings were lovely and well maintained. It was an easy 5 minute walk to the beach and 10-minute walk to Moose McGillycuddy's for dinner.
Booking this property was very easy. John S was quick to respond to my questions and provided complete information about the property.
It will likely be a while before we return to Maui, but will definitely keep this property in mind when we come again.

Kihei condo
Visited this lovely Kihei condo...it was clean, spacious and was fully stocked with anything you might need for a visit. Two full bathrooms was such a plus..upgraded beautifully. Easy access to our favorite beaches. Can’t wait to rent it again!

Excellent stay - definitely recommend !
We stayed in this property for a week, two couples. Kihei is excellent location - close to everything, A small beach is just across the road if you don't feel like driving, however we did explore the island a lot - it has huge variety of activities to offer. The condo itself is very clean, very well maintained, with every detail thought through: they provided paper towels, tissues, washer and dishwasher pods, we were pleasantly surprised to find all the beach equipment was provided in the condo as well - beach chairs, umbrellas, few sets of snorkeling gear and even a cooler, so you can go to remote beaches and still keep your drinks cool :).
Internet/WiFi worked perfectly. There is a reserved parking spot for the condo, which is quite convenient. The kitchen is well equipped, the grounds of the condo complex are very nice - there is a pool (with happy hour - free drinks on Wednesdays), multiple barbecues. John was answering our questions very promptly - thanks John for your great help! Overall, we had everything we needed for the perfect vacation in this condo - highly recommend this place !

great location, great island, good accomodations. Would definitely return.
Good apartment, tho a little dark. Great location, and the inside of the apt. was a little worn. Key here is that provides you with a place to get out & enjoy the area.

Little worn? The condo has been renovated in recent years. Two original chairs in the living area, coffee table and end tables have been recently replaced with brand new furniture. All the furniture have now been replaced since we purchased the condo. New mattresses last year.

Fantastic Condo in a Perfect Location
Unit: As a group of four friends, there was plenty of space for everyone. The two lanais made for excellent sunrise and sunset meals and the beach chairs and snorkel gear were perfect for quick trips. Plenty of kitchen supplies and some basic materials (oil and vinegar, coffee filters, sugar, light cleaning supplies.
Complex: Kamaole Sands is one of the better-maintained condo complexes with gorgeous grounds, multiple grills, 2 hot tubs, a pool, and a fitness center. We had a mobile spa visit us and having access to the hot tub before our massages was incredible.
Location: We swam with turtles at sunrise at Kam III across the street. It was nice to be in south Kihei which felt less cramped than areas in the north. It was also wonderful to be so close to the resort beaches in Wailea which are truly stunning. Plenty of food/drink options within walking distance.
Food: Kinaole Shrimp Truck (so good we ate there twice), Eskimo Candy (get there before they run out), Ululani's Shave Ice (life-changing), Nalu's South Shore Grill (the nicest people and 3 kinds of spa water)
John - every bed could use a mattress topper. You could easily charge more and recoup the cost of the mattress covers overnight. Your guests would have a significantly more relaxing experience. There was not a single sheet set that fit the Murphy bed which is a queen, not a full. Please consider replacing the upholstery on the living room chairs.

Beautiful Condo on an awesome property
Kihei is a great location for your vacation. This condo is a great place to stay in Kihei. Two bedrooms with a Murphy bed in the living room make this a great home base for a family. The kitchens and bathrooms have been tastefully renovated. We made good use of the kitchen for family breakfasts. The pool and jacuzzi were nicely maintained. The beach is right across the street from the property. We used the bbq twice. While we cleaned the grills after each use the maintenance staff must have given the grills a thorough cleaning early in the morning. They were spotless the next day. We will definitely consider this condo again for future vacations.

This condo is in a great location.
Everything we needed was here. It was within walking distance to many restuarnt sand the beach was right across the street. Snorkelling, body during and swimming. The turtles were there every morning and we saw whales at sunset. The resort was clean and the people were friendly. I would definatly rebook this place.

Nice Condo
Great condo with a lot of extras. Full kitchen with blender, crock pot, and many other things needed for cooking. It was great to have snorkeling gear, boogie boards, beach towels and lawn chairs included with the room. The beach is just across the street and was great for snorkeling. I saw 3 sea turtles the first day. The best part was no cleaning lady using harsh chemicals or interrupting your stay! They don't clean until you leave. The owner was very easy to communicate with. The concierge was helpful. My only complaint would be that the queen bed in the one bedroom was a little uncomfortable.

Great Condo in Perfect Location
This unit has everything you need - beach chairs, cooler, snorkel sets. Complex hosts a mai tai party at the pool on Wed with a singer and hula dancers. We snorkeled several times and saw turtles quite often. The local beach is across the street, about a 5 min walk and there's a nice snorkel spot at Ahihi Cove, a 10 min drive south. There are plenty of food options nearby and a huli huli bbq chicken stand set up on Saturdays just across the street. We used the bbq grills at the complex several times and they were always clean and worked well. Owner was very responsive to requests and allowed us to check-in early due to our morning flight arrival and the condo not being occupied that day.
