We have a welcoming second floor, 723 sq. ft. one bedroom condiminium at the Kihei Kai Nani complex across the street from a beautiful beach, Kamaole II, in Kihei (300 paces to sand). Kamaole II is a beautiful golden sand beach (rated as one of the 15 best beaches on Maui by the well respected Maui Revealed), which is both long and wide and has a nice snorkeling reef at its end. It has a lifeguard during the day and is shallow, making it family friendly. A short walk away are Kamaole I and III and a well maintained pathway is available for walkers and joggers that will take you from one beach to another all the way down to beautiful and exclusive Wailea (a relaxing 2 mile shoreline walk). Smoking is ONLY allowed in the 2 designated exterior smoking areas which are available 24/7.
The nightly rate does not include Air Conditioning. Due to the high cost of Electricity in Maui we need to pass through A/C costs at the rate of $10 per day (this cost will be collected via the security deposit after departure). A/C is a 2019 split system with 2 registers (one in the Living Room & one in the bedroom). The A/C is on a 5 hr. timer. There are 2 ceiling fans (B/R & L/R) + 2 portable fans.

The room was clean and had everything we needed in it. The location was wonderful, being right across the street from a great snorkeling beach! We would definitely stay there again.

Greatest Location Ever ! Steps To The Beach which is across from Restaurants, Deli, Shopping, Down The Coast A Short Distance Gas, Subway, Grocery Store Etc, Chuck and Liz Are Offering Their Hospitality To Stay at Their Fantastic One Bedroom Condo Including All Amenity's at A Very Affordable Rate ! I spent a week in Maui for my father's 95th birthday. When Chuck found out about my dad's birthday, he bought a bottle of champagne to give him! Who does that! SUCH nice people! The unit was wonderful and the location is ideal for the beaches and walking distance to most anything you could want. I will definitely stay there again on future trips!

We stayed at Kihei Kai Nani # 252 10/3-10/12/18. It is in the perfect location. By car you are not far from all things to do and see on the island of Maui. You are also within walking distance to many shops and restaurants as well as beaches. The condo was clean and had everything you needed for your stay. We did find it to be a bit warm at night sleeping. The air conditioner is at one end of the condo in the living room and the bedroom is at the other end. There is a ceiling fan over the bed and a floor fan. Eventually we got used to it and it was fine. It definitely was better than opening the windows. If we ever make it back to Maui we would not hesitate to stay here again.

Regarding the A/C being on the other side of the condo. We recently stayed in the unit ourselves for several weeks and we installed a fan that will circulate the cool air from the living area to the bedroom to help with hot nights.

Beach, restaurants, coffee, natural grocery store etc all with in walking distance. Love Kihei and the condo was great. Great location for launching out and exploring the island too. Corner unit with lovely grass/garden area surrounding it and a BBQ out back of which we used several nights. Only critique is the unit could use a new couch. We definitely will be back.

We really enjoyed our stay location was perfect, for places to eat, shop and beach access. Easy to keep clean, had all amenities needed. Loved the king bed😀

Loved it. The condo is beautiful and well stocked with dishes, pans, towels, etc. The condo is right across the street from a beautiful beach and within walking distance from restaurants and stores. We will definitely stay there again.

Maga az üdülÅ‘ egység, Kihei Kai Nani, szemben van a tengerparti szabad stranddal. A condoból 250 m a vÃzpart. Az üdülÅ‘egység csendes, mindennel felszerelt, van grillezési lehetÅ‘ség, mosoda, uszoda. Este 10 és reggel 8 között csendben kell lenni. Mi a 252-es condoban voltunk. Rengeteg edény annak, aki fÅ‘zni szeret, nyugágyak, napernyÅ‘, békaláb. Minden helyiségben TV és wifi. Telefon, amin minden vonalas USA és kanadai szám ingyen hÃvható. Az üdülÅ‘telep végén, balra 2 étterem, jobbra pedig kisebb bevásárló központ és továbi étteremek. Mindenütt rend és tisztaság. Ha decemberben nyaralásra vágysz, ide gyere! Lendvay Péter

My wife and I spent 5 nights here and the accomodation was fine. All our communications with Liz the owner were smooth and she provided lots of information for our arrival. Everything was as described, and the condo was clean and comfortable. Beach chairs were available to use. There is a pay laundry on site and the complex is safe and quiet.

About the neighborhood
This Condominium unit is in the Kihei Kai Nani complex in Southern Maui. In this location of Maui, the weather is always sunny and warm, ocean temperatures range from 75 - 83 F degrees year round and air temperature ranges from low 70's to high 80's in the summer and mid 60's to low 80's in the winter. Average annual rainfall is 4 - 10 inches per year.
The complex is directly across the street from Kamaole II beach, one of the nicest beaches on the island (per many guidebooks, including Maui Revealed). It is 240 paces from the condo door to the sand. The beach has nice golden sand, is both wide and long and has good snorkeling at the reef. The beach connects with several other wonderful beaches via a walking path that goes all the way to prestigious Wailea (2 mile easy walk). The complex has a large freshwater pool, BBQ, shuffleboard and a beautiful view of Haleakala mountain from the Pool area.
ideally situated in the complex, being far enough back (in building #) to avoid street and shopping center noise and it faces the garden (not neighboring condos), affording almost total privacy in the unit and lanai.
Stores and restaurants literally neighbor Kihei Kai Nani, making it possible to vacation here without renting a car! And for longer trips, the Maui bus stops right outside the complex and will take you to various other locations on the island.
