Kamaole Nalu Resort is a six story oceanfront property located in South Kihei. It offers time stopping views of the dazzling Pacific Ocean and a friendly casual atmosphere. Adjacent the property is Kamaole Beach, well known for it's romantic sunsets, great swimming, and seasonal whale watching. Kamaole Nalu Resort offers free parking, oceanfront pool, and a gas barbecue area. The interiors include fully equipped kitchens, cable television, free local phone service, free high speed internet, private lanais and luxury linens supplied directly by Ali'i Resorts. Kamaole Nalu is a quiet, family-oriented complex and does not allow group bookings.

Location & Comfort!
Great location, well kept grounds with an amazing view and easy access to great beaches . Only a few steps to snorkelling, turtles, restaurants and shopping. Unit was equipped with everything we needed. Beds were very comfortable. A/C was much appreciated. Very convenient to be on the ground floor with garden & pool view. Yes, you can hear some street noise and garbage pick up but it was not a distraction. A small issue was handled quickly and professionally by Ali’i Resorts. We would stay here again!

convenient to the 2 best beaches in Kihei
the unit was as advertised and fit our needs well. being 50 steps from the ocean was a joy. There is enough Sushi near by to keep us eating for weeks! and Coconuts fish house is right across the street.

BEST experience at the BEST price!
My husband and I took our 3 daughters and stayed in unit #102 for a week. We all loved the condo. We were quickly greeted by Pat and she was awesome. The unit was very clean, comfortable and well maintained. I particularly enjoyed my unit because there were no other rented units behind ours, thus we had a small "backyard" off the patio to ourselves and you can see the ocean from the lanai! Kamaole Nalu is in walking distance to MANY stores and restaurants. There's a convenient store across the street that we visited everyday, selling everything from beach gear to groceries.
The building itself is not enormous (quaint, if you will), so any unit rented has quick & easy access to outside amenities. The grounds are beautiful. The pool is not enormous, but it was perfect and NEVER crowded. There's a couple large propane BBQ grills that overlook the ocean, and tables/chairs along side for an ocean side meal! Take a couple steps further (literally, like 50 feet) and find yourself on the soft sands of the pacific ocean. In the morning you can see sea turtles the size of Volkswagens! I rented snorkel gear and took a donut float in the ocean, ventured out about 100 feet and saw sea life that I will probably never see again... rent the underwater camera, it's worth it, I promise and don't forget sunscreen! I watched the sun rise and set, every morning and night.
ALL of this, from the grounds of Kamaole Nalu. If I ever get the chance to visit Maui again, this is where I will stay.

Kamaole Nalu
Small (36 condos) ON the water between Kamaole 1 and 2. Two bd/2 ba, very well maintained, supplied and friendly manager. Perfect place if you do not want the hassle and crowds of a fancy resort. All are individually owned. Also perfect with children, grandchildren, calm beach, snorkeling right in front with turtles. We've been here more than 30 times in the last 40 years.

Paradise...
This condo is the most perfect place for a family with children to stay! The ground floor units are the best! This building is situated right in front of the ocean. Steps from the a beautiful, soft sandy beach. There's a huge swimming pool right out front overlooking the ocean. The grounds are kept in pristine conditions & there's a bbq pit out front (yes, also overlooking the ocean). The sunsets from the grassy patch out front are spectacular! I love this place & will come back time & time again! Ali Resorts are great friendly people to deal with as well! Huge thumbs up!!! Aloha!!!

Kamaole in Kihei was Fabulous
We were greeted upon arrival by Pat (onsite ali'i employee). She was very gracious and explained everything about our rental condo-access, use of amenities-pool, BBQ, common areas. She showed us around the grounds. Informed us of who to contact should we need assistance. She was delightful and helpful. The condo met our needs perfectly for a family of two adults and two children (11, 14) with two separate bed/bath rooms. Narrow kitchen only allowed for one person to really prepare meals but it worked out well as there were stools on the opposite side of the counterwhere my family could sit and as meals were prepared I could hand them their plate of food. The location couldn't be better. We love KamI and II beaches and to be able to walk out condo and not drive to a beach was great. The swimming pool was minimally used by my family but adequate. The lounge chairs on the lawn were terrific to relax and look at the water. I liked that it was never crowded on the lawn. The wind picks up in Kihei around 2-4:30pm so dining outside was interesting but still enjoyable. Hey you are in Maui with sun and relaxation. Nothing beats that.

Very Pleasant, but, a little annoyed and disappointed
The condition and amenities of the unit were very nice, but, the design and layout of the kitchen was poorly thought-out. The space behind the counter is too narrow. Two people cannot work in the kitchen together. The Dishwasher door cannot be opened fully unless the two rear cabinet doors are opened, which means you cannot pass by the dishwasher with the door down. With the narrow space, the dishes, and pots and pans in the rear cabinets are difficult to access. And the glasses and cups stored over the refrigerator are difficult to reach and impossible for a short person. The counter needs to be moved out to flush with the TV wall, and, the rear cabinets need to be mounted above the rear counter. The mirror is a nice touch, but not needed, and infringes upon the efficiency of operation in the kitchen. Nice unit, but, because of the poorly designed kitchen, I would not stay there again, or recommend it to a friend. Other than those flaws, the unit is very nice.

Awesome!
Perfect! We had a great time in, but mostly outside the condo. Clean inside and set up with the essentials to get you through a week or more. Location was perfect. Beaches so close with no road to cross. Saw turtles and fish while snorkeling the reef right off of the condo. So fun, would definitely stay there again!

Killer Deal for compact So. Kehei 2BR/2Ba near Ocean
Excellent use of about 750 sf. Queen in master and 2 doubles in 2nd BR. Sleeps 6. Functional kitchen. Ground level. Excellent access to beach and snorkeling. Only a couple hundred bucks/night.

Very nice
The facility is really close to the beach so that was nice to wake up and walk out and see the ocean. Right across the street there is a nice place to rent paddle boards and snorkel equipment. And there are also lots of restaurants within walking distance, including a nice cinnamon roll place for breakfast. The unit is nice but maybe a little cramped for us since we had 5 adults but we made it work. The kitchen was pretty small but again it was fine for us for a week. Overall a nice lcation and facility! For the price we paid it would be hard to find something like this!
