Sweeping views from the North Shore of Hanalei to Bali Hai in the center. Pali Ke Kua 221 is a two bedroom, 2baths fully furnished vacation condo in Princeville. The master bedroom, living room, kitchen and lanai are on the main level. A loft and bath are upstairs with beautiful views of the surf below. A full cement path leads directly to hidden beach.

Very enjoyable stay
Our first time in kauai and what a great introduction when we walked into the condo and saw the view . The condo is very comfortable and has a loft and all requirements to make our stay quite enjoyable . We booked the condo for later this year and looking forward to it. The manager was quite helpful in giving us tips and directions for sites, restaurants etc..

OUTSTANDING VIEWS
We've been coming to Princeville for 15 years and stayed at the Pale Ke Kua 221 for the last 10. Quite enjoyable condo and relaxing . We love sitting on the lanai and have our drinks and watch the beautiful views. Highly recommend it.

FANTASTIC VIEWS AND PLEASANT STAY
We've been staying at Pale Ke Kua 221 for many years , for 3- 4 weeks at a time and keep coming back every year.
Quite spectacular views and great value. The manager of the property is always very helpful in making our stay quite enjoyable . Wifi was out for a day but that was due to an outage in the whole area and the manger offered to use his office computer if we needed it.
Looking forward to our next trip ..

This Condo desperately needs ongoing Maintenance!!!!
I have been writing reviews for Trip Advisor for a number of years. During that period of time, I have never given a location a "One Star" rating, until now. We stayed at this property for what was going to be two nights, before moving into our timeshare. First, the good! The view from this unit's balcony is beautiful. Now the bad; Once you step inside this unit, the interior of the unit is worn and needs basic maintenance instead of the owner waiting for something to break before repairing it. The interior furnishings are old and worn. The television, stereo, Wi-Fi and DVD player never worked during our brief stay. Our bath/shower in the master bath broke when we tried to turn it on for the first time on the first evening, and we were never able to use it during our stay. The loft shower had a sliding glass track that was out of the slide guide (it was broken) and we were unable to secure it for fear of the glass falling and shattering within the shower. The unit dish Washer only worked on the Pots and Pans setting. A number of the windows were difficult to crank open because they had simply not been maintained and a couple of lamps with busted on-off switches were replaced with a variety of different type switches that were almost impossible to turn on. Last, this unit does not have A/C and the ceiling fans run on a single speed, slow. Given the fact that this unit is East/West facing, it is hit by the sun all day and retains the heat and humidity, again all day long. The unit finally cooled off for sleeping after midnight. We did find a portable fan on the loft level, but when I went to pick it up to bring downstairs, if fell apart in my hands.
For those who will ask, I did call the Owner or his representative shortly after our arrival and advised of both the shower and TV, stereo issues and they did send someone out the following day when we were there. However, the maintenance person was unable to repair the shower and left it pulled apart and in pieces inside the shower for the remainder of our visit. He also could not figure out what was wrong with the TV, Stereo, Wi-Fi etc... The owner's representative called me on Friday afternoon to tell me he would have people out on Saturday to fix everything, but I reminded him we would be checking out and this would do nothing for us during our stay. He advised there was nothing that he could do for us. So, given the situation, my wife and I made other arrangements for Friday evening and paid for alternative lodging where I am pleased to report that everything worked. While the owner/leasing agent may say that he was unaware of these issues, they do charge their renters a significant fee to clean and check out the unit after each stay. I can only wonder why no one is keeping up with the preventative maintenance required for this once beautiful unit.... FYI, many of the rental units on the North Shore do not have A/C, as the price for electricity on the island is very expensive and it does cool off late at night during the winter months. However, if heat and humidity are an issue for you or your partner, consider only staying in a rental that has A/C, so you can switch it on if needed during the day or in the early evening.

It’s quite surprising to,have this review when all other reviews have been quite excellent reviews . The issue with this guest unfortunately is wanting a deeply discounted rate which wasn’t extended and hence this
unfavorable review. Quite unfortunate but once in a while it happens,
