Best location of any unit on this beautiful, quiet, impeccably maintained property. The ground level unit is spotless, updated, comfortable, well-provisioned, and close to the beach and pool, has unimpeded view of the beach. Description doesn’t mention that it has an extra half bath which is a valuable convenience. This property is very well situated on the island, easy to access both North and South shores, and handy to the airport. We loved it!

Look no further, this is where you want to stay!
This place is perfect! Quiet, centrally located, ocean literally in the backyard (an absolutely stunning sunrise/sunset view from the lanai), very clean and updated with all you need to prepare your own meals and/or relax without going anywhere. If you do want to go out, there's a walking path to an incredible swim beach or just a short drive to great restaurants, hiking, etc. Seriously, I would not stay anywhere else on the island. We saw whales while sipping sangria and eating ceviche from the lounge chairs on the lanai! Can it get any better?

Beautiful ocean view
My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary and absolutely loved this vacation rental. Beautiful unobstructed ocean view. We enjoyed many meals sitting on the lanai and watching the waves. It was clean and nicely updated. The condo location is close to many places to eat & shop. The property manager was very helpful. We would highly recommend staying here and will definitely be returning ourselves!

Great stay, loved the location. Not a swimable beach, so that was a let down. Swimable beach is short walking distance however.

Mahalo for your review. There is a beach in front of Kaha Lani, but during the winter months, there can be waves. We do highly recommend walking down to Lydgate Beach Park next door to Kaha Lani with it's County of Kaua'i trained lifeguards, showers and bathrooms and protected lagoons for safe swimming. We do agree, the location is great, between Wailua Golf Course and Lydgate Beach Park. We look forward to having you back!

Truly paradise
This is heaven on earth. Watching the sun rise over the ocean from the patio is a wonderful way to start the day. The location is perfect in that you can go north or south as you choose. The walking trail in front along the beach to Lydgate park is delightful. The grounds are well kept and we love the unit we rent. The pool is just the right temp and never seems too crowded. Great lodging at a great price!
Pros:
-Location was great, right next to Lydgate State Park and beachfront. Beach directly in front of condos is very nice and not at all crowded. Very short drive to Kapaa. Close to a nice public golf course.
-Centrally located on the island, a short drive to all other tourist destinations. Easily accessible from highway, you'll avoid some traffic jams by not being right in town. (Kapaa)
-Unit was very clean, comfortable, well-outfitted and well maintained. Just about everything in good working order. A little short on linens and pillows for 4 people. Having 1.5 baths was great.
-This ground floor unit is steps from the beach, fairly close to pool and laundry. Patio views are very nice. Pool is small but fine. Hot tub not working. Condo complex is well-maintained, feels secure, staff super friendly and helpful. There were always staff and/or security around.
-Unit came with beach towels, chairs, coolers. I don't think all units have those things.
-Furniture was utilitarian but nice and clean. Plenty of nice patio furniture.
Cons:
-This particular unit got quite warm during the day due to its location in the complex. Direct sun from ocean side most of the day. Only an issue if your body temp runs on the hot side. There are shades to close. Master bedroom on opposite side of unit was shaded by other buildings and stayed cool. Unit was equipped with 2 portable fans (a bonus) and 2 ceiling fans. I don't know which units might be cooler during the day--or if all on the ocean side would have this issue. Living room ceiling fan did not work well, bedroom ceiling fan worked great.
-Fold-out futon bed is small, would be tight for two adults. Didn't work for our two teen boys. Fortunately, chairs in living room also fold down flat, we put 2 together for a second bed. We should have checked that out in advance.

Our condo was even better than advertised. It was prettier and closer to the ocean than we expected. It was clean, nice, great view, beautiful beach, pool,...Not a single complaint. We experienced most all of the island of Kauai, from tip of North Shore to as far as you could go on the West. Location was superb! We had a wedding in Kekaha, dinners in Lihue, sailboarding in anini beach, Zip lining, golf, paddle boarding, dinners out... Our family vacation was superb! I hope we will get to visit the island again, and yes we would hope to stay in the same condo.

We think Kauai is very pretty but we need an air conditioned pla
We rented 119 for seven nights and we both agreed the bed and the powder room were the best part of the unit. We had to have a fan, rusty old fan blowing on us all night so we could get to sleep. This unit faces the east so you will want to keep your shades closed or the unit heats up and hold the humidity for the rest of the day. The broom and all of the things in the utility closet are needing to be replaced as of 10 years ago! We liked the view and the grounds were very well kept with a walking and bicycle path right outside your door with the sound and view of the ocean. The owners need to update the lawn furniture and the other things mentioned before I would recommend it to a friend. As far as being too hot, we are from Illinois and not conditioned to be 24hrs in the heat and high humidity. The only relief we got was to tour in our car with the air on. Beautiful places to see and Dukes was our favorite restaurant for fish! Tedi and Gary

totally awesome
We have always loved Kauai and Kaha Lani is the perfect spot to be...quiet, centrally located, right on the ocean and amazing property management. Staff is quick to fix stuff, install new stuff, etc., to make sure your stay is memorable. I talked with people staying under the Castle management and they weren't happy with some of their rules and policies.

Kaha Lani #119 amazing!
This was our 2nd time to Kauai, and I think we have found a new favorite place to stay. The view is amazing and the location is perfect! Great access to the beach, and jogging path. Having two young kids it was nice being able to take such a short walk to Lydgate Beach Park. Being on the ground floor was great for the kids as well so they could run and play in the grass, and obviously easy access for the adults as well. We did have neighbors above and beside us, and it was still quiet and relaxing. The condo was exactly as described. Since we were there at the end of august, it was warm, but opening up all the windows and letting the breeze in definitely helped. The pool is awesome, and we always felt safe with the security guards around. They were super nice and helpful. It was an awesome 12 days and we can't wait to return, and fingers crossed that this unit is available again! I spoke with Sue and Greg, and they were wonderful to work with. Thanks so much!!!
