About the neighborhood
Honu Hale Kai sits within the quaint historical town of Kapaa. It is one block behind the main thoroughfare fronting Kapaa Bay with a white sand bottom swimming beach and Kapaa's newest and most enjoyable 12 ft wide concrete walking, jogging and bike path all along the oceanside. You can walk to the Kapaa Public Swimming Pool, the Public Library, Post Office, Banks and all the activities and shops surrounding the area. There is also a public shuttle bus line to access areas outside of Kapaa.

The only public transportation is the Kauai Shuttle Bus offering bus stops island wide.

How to get there
Once leaving Lihue Airport, head north toward Kapaa. With good traffic, the drive will be approximately 20 minutes. (18 miles). Turn right onto Inia Street just after the Pono Kai Resort. The road will turn to the left running horizontal to the ocean.
Pull into the lot just before Honu Hale Kai on your right. You can pull your car up toward the house to the left so that you have easy access to the front door.
