5🌟 rating for Jackie and Tonys lovely Gite!!
Two weeks of glorious sunshine, fun and relaxation!
The Gite was perfect! Everything you needed and more was there for your use! A warm welcome on our arrival and a bonus welcome gift of wine, baguette and cheese! (and another warm welcome the next day from Buddy the friendliest dog in the world 🐶)
We all loved the spacious Gite, grounds, and the peacefulness of the area. The pool was used nearly every day. ...
Lots of beautiful walks, towns and lovely beach lake, Canoeing, kayaking, zip wires, horse riding and much more close by.
Jackie and Tony were always very helpful and recommended lots of nice places to visit.
Can't wait to re-visit!

Well thought out accomodation
Quiet and rural location but need to drive to attractions. Accomodation was very clean, everything needed was there. Helpful, friendly owners and lovely animals which made it feel very homely and welcoming. Would stay there again.

Brilliant Gite, so relaxing and a very warm welcoming family
We stayed at the Gite for a week in August 2016. The accommodation and facilities are perfect, Tony and Jackie have really taken the time to think of the things you need and more. Our children 5 and 8 loved the garden and as a result we hardly left and spent most of our week relaxing in the garden.
Tony and Jackie are great hosts and give as much or as little help as you require. We had a lovely time in their company including a bbq and a number of bottles of wine.
Thank you for a wonderful break we will definately be back.

Perfect ingredients for ideal holiday - great gite in a wonderful location
Where to start? A wonderful holiday and certainly one of the best we've had, in a place where we felt like we could truly relax. Jackie and Tony and all the animals were welcoming friendly and always offering advice and tips on where to go and what to explore.
The gite itself is lovely and welcoming, the perfect holiday cottage coupled with being in a great location. There's so much to explore in this area of France we could have easily stayed for another week. It's an ideal spot for visiting lots of places and coupled excellent facilities on site to keep the kids entertained.
Would we stay again? Without hesitation - great people, great gite, great location, great climate in a lovely part of France.

best stay in a long time
We had the best stay in years, the kids loved the pool and the toys to play with, feeding the horse and chickens. we got fresh eggs and had some fresh garden vegetable's. The stars at night are just awesome the thunder storm was brilliant and as for the house, they have put a lot of attention and hard work into it and it shows. it was beautiful, nice to have SKY TV and kitchen was very well equipped. we BBQ most days but we had a brilliant stay.

Family Gite
Lovely modern gite with everything you could want or need for exploring the countryside, we even found a village 3 day fete (thanks to Jackie). Our 9 year old daughter loved the swimming pool, trampoline and the dog, so she was occupied whilst we relaxed.
The gite had a lovely log fire, so even though the weather wasn't great, Kev did have the excuse to light the fire a couple of nights.
Would definitely recommend this gite to anyone with families.

great place to relax and enjoy france
The cottage is very spacious, contemporary with all the mod cons you could need plus great outside areas to relax in with wonderful countryside views. The children particularly enjoyed the swimming pool, table tennis and the football among other things eg play station, UK TV! We came to the area to do some cycling and were more than pleased to find VTT (french mountain bike) cycling tracks from just up the road and a cycle ride to the village shop for bread each morning that was fine for a 12year old on their own (if out of bed in time!). There were plenty of things to do within a short drive such as canoeing, river walks, more cycling and swimming down at a local lake. Alencon is a picturesque town that we might not have visited if we hadn't stayed here.
Jackie and family were very helpful and welcoming. I would certainly recommend a stay at Maison Ensoleillee!

There is a train ride available to take you around the lake if you prefer a change from walking, and the forest is ideal for walking and cycling.

St Leonard des Bois is only 10 mins drive away, and offers lots of outdoor activities, including horse riding, water sports, for the adventurous- an 'in the trees ' adventure park, along with a very pretty trail walk to see some of the most prettiest views and animals. You can also find a selction of traditional bars and restaurants.
St-Ceneri-le-Gerei (6km) is found in the Orne department of Normandy to the south-west of Alencon.
A very pretty village in a lovely wooded setting on a bend in the River Sarthe in the heart of southern Normandy, Saint Ceneri is classified as a 'most beautiful village of France'.
The village is very popular with artists, drawn by the unspoiled character of the village and several artists have established galleries and workshops here.
There are some pretty houses along the river banks - the two banks are joined by an old bridge.
The village has an attractive 11th century romanesque style church, with some notable frescoes, and pretty views down the river valley. There is also a very little 15th century chapel.
Nearby the Gardens at La Mansoniere are also recommended, with several different 'garden rooms' to be explored.
